Recovering My Files
Hi, I'd like to know if there is a way to recover my files that were submitted as articles that have not sold or that have sold for usage only. I lost some of them when I got a new computer. I'd also like to know if there is a way to recover the articles I have sold for full rights, so I can archive...

Funky Happenings with Text in Descriptions and Keywords
I'm wondering if anyone else is experiencing weird things happening to text when entering the short summary, long summary, and keywords for articles. The words and alignment jump around. If I put in a keyword followed by a comma, the word might jump to the next line. All sorts of things are happenin...

Re: Recently Added Articles
My main concern is that it's a great way for your content to be advertised without people having to search.

Hi, I had an article approved yesterday, but it's not showing up on the recently added articles page. Will it be?

No File Included
Hi, I got rejected because no file was included with the submission for "Love Addiction." But wouldn't the submission have not gone through if I'd forgotten to attach the file?

Re: What is your CC "Eureka" moment?
Is anyone out there making CC their primary source of income? I looked at some of the top selling authors with regard to the amount of licenses they have sold, used $30 as the average price, and came up with about $58,000 for one. Is it possible to make this a full time job? If so, how long does it ...

Choosing Usage Vs. Full Rights
When pricing my articles, I'm perplexed as to what to charge for which type of rights. If I write a 1,000 word article, I don't know that I'd want to sell it for full rights, as it is a lot of work and I can't sell it again. But if I price it higher as I would for such a word count as a usage articl...

Re: Short Summary Question
And if it's not being done already, maybe have a feature where the word count is shown first without the reader having to scroll down?

Re: Short Summary Question
Since I've gotten some conflicting answers, Ed, can you verify that my article won't be rejected automatically if there's word count in the short summary? Thanks everyone for your help.

Re: Short Summary Question
That was my concern. Can they not see it at the top where the price is? I guess my concern is them seeing the price before they see the word count, and then dismissing the article. I'm not clear on the message: is it not allowed to regularly include the word count in the short summary?

Re: Pricing Articles
Thank you for the feedback. I'm also noticing as I go in and adjust my prices, that there are many hits for each of my articles. One of my tutorials has approximately 200 hits, but no sales. Is this common to have an article that's been accepted, has many hits, but never sells? Or is it just the law...

Acceptable Submission Formats
Hi, I am writing a tutorial on one of the functions of Excel. I think it would be best to do this in PowerPoint, as there are screen shots in addition to text. Is that acceptable, or does it have to be in word?

Input on Pending Articles
Is it at all permissible to ask other members of the forum for feedback on articles I'm considering submitting? I submitted one that was rejected twice. I'm going to hold off on submitting again until I can really disect it, as I really think it's valuable. I don't want it to be permanently banned. ...
