Re: Appropriate Quotes
I can't remember exactly how it goes or who said it, but it is something like: "Boring women don't make history." I think that's my excuse to be eccentric! Jenn
Hi Jenn, Perhaps the quote you're refering to is, "Well-behaved women seldom make history...

Re: Appropriate Quotes

Here is another favorite quote from the book On Writing Well by William Zinsser. "As a non-fiction writer you must get on the plane. If a subject interests you, go after it, even it’s in the next county or the next state or the next country. It’s not going to come looking for you. Decide what y...

Re: Appropriate Quotes

I love quotes and keep collections of them in files on my computer and off. My daughter graduated from Ohio University, so imagine my delight when I found this one: “I am returning this otherwise good typing paper to you because someone has printed gibberish all over it and put your name at the top....

Dear Mr Ed Editor You're Right

I completely agree with everything all ready said. My only addition to the thread is that I believe blogs have made anyone and everyone believe that they are writers, which they are, but they are not professional writers. Therein lies the difference. Shirley fails to see the difference between writi...

Question on .txt file

Hi, If anyone can answer this question, I'd really appreciate it. I never pay much attention to how I save a doc in MS Office Word 2003. A buyer has asked me if my document is downloadable in .txt file and I don't know...Is it? I want to make sure I give the requester the right answer. Thanks! T

Re: Pricing of articles - Who is selling for $1 - $5?

There have been lots of good points made in this thread. I have said it before and I will continue saying it...under cutting prices and lowballing hurts every writer. The willingness to take a low price for hard work devalues the work put into crafting an article. It also makes buyers and clients fe...

Re: Constant Content Gets an Update

Wow, wasn't I suprised when I logged onto Constant Content this morning. What a change and shame on me for not reading the Site Renovations thread on a regular basis. I've not had a chance to check things out thoroughly, but I'll get to it. I like the logo or was that the logo from the previous red ...

Help with Title

I don't know whether I'm having a brain fart or what, but I'm not sure what to do about the following title:

To Roll or not to Roll or should it be.... To Roll or Not to Roll

Any suggestions, help, or advice will be greatly appreciated.

Re: Did I submit my article to the right place?

Hi Ed, I'm confused about the submission process. It's changed since I last submitted an article for request. First I entered the "for request" tab and then went down to the subtopic and chose, education--->distance learning (or something like that) and then finished the form. A message po...

Thank You

Happy New Year to one and all and a big thank you to CC. I've not been around much during the holidays and what a surprise when I logged in and discovered the changes. The request system is great....easier to follow on a clean page. I've not yet submitted any articles for the new year, but I will so...
