Question about Casting Calls

Hi everyone -- I've been away from CC for quite a while and there are a lot of changes. My question at the moment is: what information shoud I include when applying for a Casting Call? Should I include a link to my author page? How about links to published work? Any advice will be much appreciated!

Is this a Private Request? I'm confused!

Hi all, Forgive me if his is a dumb question, but I'm still fairly new to Constant Content and freelance writing. I have a new request that I assumed was a public request until I realized it is listed as a Private Request. Its showing up on my Requested content page just above the Public Requests an...

What is the procedure for straight editing jobs?

Hi all, This is in reference to a recent public request. The buyer wands a straight editing job of an existing document. My question(s): 1) how does the buyer get the document to me (assuming I get the job  ) 2) does such a job go through review? 3)how do I get the edited document to the buyer?...

Thanks, Ed. I'll probably submit a coupe of these later this week. I'll put a note in the short summary just to be on the safe side (something like "Article posted on one other website under pen name W D Adkins). That should cover t, I think. If not, please let me know. One final detail: can/sh...

How shoulld I handle this?

Hi I have a number of articles that I would like to post for usage (these are articles on Helium.com, so I can't remove them). As I understand the rules, this would be OK (as long as they are only offered for usage). Correct me if I'm wrong on that. My concern is that I don't want to run afoul of co...

HI-- Good for you. I've been wrestling with the same thing--breaking out of the topics I'm comfortable with and experimenting. And the other day sold my first article on a real estate topic! A subject I'd never even thought of trying. Here's how I'm learning to think of it: We (you, me, other writer...

Thanks for the update. The only problem I've noticed (minor) is not getting e-mail notices of public requests. Otherwise, no problems (knock on wood!)

Good luck,
Bill

PayPal

As far as I know PayPal is how we get paid, so no PayPal no money. I am in the same position, so I went ahead and set up PayPal. The Personal account is free and just takes a few minutes. Since you are in the UK you might want to go ahead now--they may have additional verification procedures if you ...
