On Busting it Up and other things...

Hi there! One of the very first articles I submitted and had approved was about 4,000 words long. It's great information, and it WAS approved, but over the weeks since I've been here I've been looking over other people's work and I've decided it may be a bit too long for the average buyer. First of ...

Sold Articles Location

Hiyahowyadoin? I'm wondering if there's a place on each author's page where you can go to see what that author has sold, or can you only do that on your own page?

Correcting Approved Articles

Just a few minutes ago, I read one of my approved articles out loud to a friend, and noticed two minor errors in it. For this, can I pull the article, do the corrections, and resubmit it? Even though it slipped through (editors are human too), I'd prefer to have the articles as perfect as possible.

Re: Let Me Pick Your Brains I

Thanks, Celeste! I got to thinking as I wrote in my personal journal yesterday....I could probably take things from my journal as well. Like, I just recently was ranting about when to "let go" of our kids and "let them fall," so I've already begun an article on that issue. I'll b...

Re: Let Me Pick Your Brains I

Thanks, Celeste...I never thought of it that way. One of the things you pointed out had never occurred to me, either. The fact that a website can't just go in and "cut and paste" an article on another website. It dawned on me that, even though a particular subject has ALREADY been covered ...

Let Me Pick Your Brains I

Hiyahowyadoin? So glad I found this board. I see alot of profuse writing on this website...authors popping out 10-15 articles a day sometimes! For that type of writer, and ALL writers for that matter, here's my question: How do you avoid the "That's Been Done Before Syndrome?" Here's an ex...

Re: Icons...

Yeah...thanks, Celeste. I did check the FAQ, but there's no mention of the icon meanings. The info you gave me does help a bit tho. I guess the main issue here is knowing how to post and check your posts. I can do that...*smile* thanks again!

Icons...

The icons to the right of the titles to our posts.....what do they mean? I see small lines, indicating a paragraph. Sometimes it's in red, sometimes there's a star next to it. Sometimes it scrolls...stuff like that. Is there a place on the site that tells about that? I check the FAQ....?

How do you know....

Hiyahowyadoin? Quick question. I have two articles (so far) up for sale. I'm so excited! There's more to come, but I'm just so jazzed about these two first ones! Anyhow, if I receive a sale, what is the procedure? I mean, how do you know you've made a sale? Will CC send you an automatic email, such ...

Public Reqests

Hi there everyone! I was just going over the public requests list, and saw someone there looking for an article on selling arts and crafts. I just had an article approved on that subject, and it's viewable. How does this work? Do I go in and tell that person about my article? If so, it's asking for ...

Thanks Celeste! All three articles have been re-submitted. I'm breathing a sigh of relief. I wish I could send you flowers. Bless you, dearie!
