I've read at the Purdue site, but I still can't figure out where the commas go in this sentence. Help!
Often, just starting out with something like "Please don't read this as anger, because it's not" will avoid misinterpretations in written communications.

Re: Need to Know from You
Ed, I visit one site that has you check that you have read the rules before you can enter the forums...every single time. Maybe you could do that. Have a page that precedes the submission page that has them check that they have read the guidelines. I wouldn't mind taking a few extra seconds for that...

Re: Hey Ed!
Put it in red, on top if possible. It needs to stand out more. But to be honest, the regulars aren't going to notice it, because we are so used to the form, and knowing how to fill it out. Newbies will probably see it.

Nope, didn't see the link to guidelines on the submission form, but that's a great place for it. I hope it helps make your job easier.

Re: Rejection on store description article
Hi Pamela, Everyone who has signed up for it gets notification of public requests. It's just to let us know they are available if you want to write an article to submit for it. This site is different, and better. No bidding, no begging, just write good content and bring it to the customer's attentio...

Re: New at posting but not so new
Hi Mary! I'm pretty new here myself, and all I can say is the money is there if you want it. I have made most of my money from writing for public requests, and we happen to have some great ones right now. If I were you, I'd check them out. Also, check out the FAQ's, because it has the five best sell...

Re: Stationery Articles Purchased as Usage and Used asFullRights
This seems to be a problem internet-wide with non-English speaking customers. They do not understand sometimes, but in many cases I've heard of, they simply do not care. They have the article, and who is going to fight them, because you would have to go to China or India to do it. They figure that t...

How to make this acceptable
I'm working on a humorous piece about cats, and I would like to know how to make this phrase acceptable. If I leave out the exclamation, it takes away from the humorous impact, but I don't know how to put it in there to make it not get rejected. Bam! - your cat will be there, right underfoot, very q...

Re: Sorry, Ed
Wow, that was harsh. Maybe I just won't submit for awhile, until I can get it right. Thanks for humiliating me on the public forum. I'll remember that next time I want to ask a question.

Sorry, Ed
I submitted the article "Simple Preparation to Avoid Winter Kill in Your Garden" and mistakenly made it available for full rights instead of just usage. I resubmitted it properly. Can you please approve it? I assume there was no other reason it was rejected, as none was mentioned. Thanks!
