Re: $1 for an Article???

Yes, I agree that the prices of articles should reflect the worth of authors' time and effort. But I have just bought a copy of my own article for $1 today because I lost some of my own original files ( Hayleywriter mentioned this method earlier) . If I mark another article at a low usage price of u...

Re: sales disappeared

I have an article that's marked "unpaid" under the "licenses for my content" section tonight (Sunday) even though I received an email saying it was sold. I guess I will check on the status tomorow.

Re: Suggestion To Link Articles With Images

It sounds like an interesting idea. If it can be implemented, it may generate more sales in the illustration/photography area, too.

Re: Please Post Your Technical Problems Here

All CC Editors and Support: Thank you for the new effort you have been making on this site! I just discovered by surprise that between yesterday and today I sold two articles! I am happy. But I did not get any e-mail notification on these sales. Other e-mails have been arriving in my email box fine....

Re: Please Post Your Technical Problems Here

On 10/29 an article of mine was sold for unique license. But I did not get an email notice. This is not a big problem for me since I discovered it later on CC as a pleasant surprise. I have been receiving all other e-mail notices fine, including other "article sold" notices. So it only hap...

Re: How to publish by penname vs real name

Ed,

Thank you for your reply. Will follow advice.
Sorry that I did not realize the customers were not to be contacted directly - given that public request customers could contact the authors and vice versa via the Q and A. But I understand CC's concern.

How to publish by penname vs real name

Ed, I just found my article published on a web site that gave reference to my real name as the author. The article had been sold as usage right. I appreciate the fact that they gave me proper credit. But can I request CC to sell my work with a pen name such as Spring Stillman? Would that be workable...

Re: First Sale! ...and a question

Wow! As a newcomer, I just saw my FIRST SALE on Conatant-Content this morning! This is the 6th article of mine that got posted on CC. Funny thing, it was the one which took me the least time to write. Maybe I will climb to the authors' list sooner or later. Haha. This is a great week. A brother of m...

Re: Questions About First-Person POV in Blog Posts

Good news! I revised my blog entry so it's no longer first person POV, and submitted it again. It is now accepted and posted on the site. Thank you for the extra work, Editors.

Re: Questions About First-Person POV in Blog Posts

This dialogue is helpful to me. I just rerwote a blog entry to make it non-first-person POV and resubmitted the piece today. Hope it will be accepted this time.

I ahce a couple photos showing licenses sold ( 2 or 1) , but my account status still does not show in sold images. I do not see payment data anywhere either. Are these licenses really sold? Thank you.
