Submitting a Photo
Is it possible to submit a photo for usage rights only? I am using this particular photo to illustrate an article that is online at a different site. I just wanted to offer it for usage only, but the form required me to give a price for full rights.

Did my article get unsold?
I got a message in my email that one of my articles had sold. Then today I noticed that it was not under "my recently sold content." Did the buyer decide that it was not what they wanted? Can they "return" articles?

Punctuation Emergency! Need Help with Hypens
I have searched and searched, but can't find an answer to this question: I know that the age in the following sentence should be hyphenated the following way: "A 10-year-old girl went to the park." But, what about when the noun that 10-year-old modifies is understood? "A 10-year-old w...

Help! This sentence needs rescuing!
I'm writing a short piece about mother-daughter camps. I'm trying to be entertaining in my portrayal of the tensions moms and pre-pubescent daughters feel. I am trying to point out the fact that many moms are going through menopause at the same time that their daughters are going through puberty-- a...

Space Next to Numbered Items?
How many spaces should I put in after each number in a list of numbered items? For example: 1. First item 2. Second item I used to put two spaces next to numbers. Is this still the norm? My word processor is wanting to close the gap, so getting the formatting to turn out right and then save to a .tx...

Funniest Typo?
I had to laugh out loud when I found this interesting word substitution in my article-- probably the result of being asleep at the spell check switch: In an article about toddlers at play: "They build confidence in their own ability to do useful chores around the house, and feel good about inti...

Anyone want to exchange articles by email to proofread?
Would anyone like a proofreading pen pal? I will proof yours if you'll proof mine. I brought up the idea of a proofreading forum earlier, but it was pointed out that the content on forums is indexed by search engines. I would be willing to exchange articles by email. I know that I see mistakes in ot...

Keyword Question
Should I choose my keywords and then write the article? Or should I write an article and then choose the keyword based one what I wrote? How many keywords should I include in the submission form (in the box that says keywords)? Should I place a comma between keywords?
