Re: Rejection 'we accept only completely original content'

Hi Lysis

Yes, some parts of it were a rehashed version of a more general CV piece I have previously written and sold through the site - I thought it was OK to do this, that's why I'm trying to clarify whether this was the reason it was rejected?

Rejection 'we accept only completely original content'

Hi I have just had my article rejected, for the above reason, but I am not clear what you mean - was it because I used some content from a previous article (of mine) or are you saying I have plagiarised material? The article was entitled 'Preparing Your CV for Jobs in Sustainable Energy' Thanks Gaia

Public request not listed

I have a public request, received May 8th, called 'Regarding Houseplants' but I can't see it listed in the requested content - would be surprised if it's expired already, so has it just been overlooked?

Re: Third rejection, what now?

Thanks everyone, I really don't want to give up on this site - I was so pleased when I found it. I've read lots of helpful stuff on these forums and looked at the sites about punctuation etc. but will take Hayley's advice for now and leave that article to come back to later. Third rejection, what now?

Well, my article has been rejected for the third time now and I am still no wiser as to why! When I received the second rejection email I realised that I had misread the submission guidelines re:format - I'd read 'no indentations and double spacing between paragraphs' as meaning 'no double spacing b...

Oh no, I've been rejected!

As a newbi to CC, I proudly submitted my first article last week, thinking that I had carefully followed all the submission guidelines. So I was really disappointed to receive my rejection email, which simply said 'Please follow all formatting guidelines, which describe how spaces must appear betwee...
