Re: Article acceptance and review messages in inbox
I think that not allowing the writer to see if their article was immediately accepted or rejected was done on purpose for someone to have fun playing mind games with writers with little self confidence and fear of rejection (like me for instance )

Re: Distinquishing moderators from authors
Thanks Celeste for your answer, which is very helpful and answers one question. What I was suggesting, in a poor round about way, was, is there a way to distinguish moderators with some kind of icon, for example, beside their name? Just thought it might be easier to identify admin. Maybe not require...

Distinquishing moderators from authors
Just wondering if there is a way to tell if a CC post reply is from a moderator. In other words: is there a way to tell if the person who replies to a post is a moderator, other than knowing from experience who you are. It may be helpful for new writers and easier to find a reply to our posts when s...

Re: Constructive Criticism Thread
Annette, I am still fairly new here, and still "learning the ropes" as they say, however, I'm not sure we should be posting an entire article in any of the threads. I just read on the first post, by Ed, on this topic that search engines also scan forums for indexing articles. BTW, in third...

Re: Rejections and what to do when a mistake is spotted
Hi Celeste, I like both of your ideas. I was thinking of contacting the author, as I would appreciate someone doing the same for me. Still being new, I'm not sure what the criteria is for getting the boot, so to speak. I definitely want to stick around awhile though, and I like your idea of "te...

Rejections and what to do when a mistake is spotted
Without going into detail, and trying very diligently not to show anyone up, I just read an article by an author in the "expertise group" and found 3 errors. And although minor, the mistakes are still noticeable, even by an amateur such as myself. I'm not naming the author or article, as t...

Re: Mystery rejection...changing font?
I have question that may or may not be related to this topic (I'll try and make it relevant). A client recently requested an article and asked for the format to be in plain txt. Question is this: if a customer asks for a specific type of format, do we have to do the article in this format or can we ...

Re: Do you usually reject low offers?
Hi Antonia and Hayley, Thanks for the welcome and it's nice to meet you. I just had another low offer (same customer) today for my other article. I don't want to seem unappreciative, but I had to to reject the offer. Perhaps it would be best not to check the 'best offer' box, and hope for the best. ...

Re: Do you usually reject low offers?
Hi Antonia, I am also fairly new here. When I read your comment about receiving a low offer for a usage article, I noticed the same person or website (Karlonia.com) also offered me a low quote today. I haven't replied yet and may not accept the offer, because I'm not selling the full license, and as...
