Love this thread! I have lots of favourite quotes.
I am a bit of a procrastinator, and I love this one from John Lennon: "Time you enjoy wasting is not wasted."
Look forward to seeing some more on this thread!

Re: Inbox and Best Offers to Show Number of Messages
Thirded. My bugbear is actually that (maybe I'm missing something!) I can't click on one inbox message, then click an arrow to go through to read the next new message. I have to click back on inbox, and again on a new message. Just a small thing but maybe easy to implement?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: Constructive Criticism Thread
I much prefer the second title 'R U Ready 2 Tweet?' than the first, as I think the first has the possibility of alienating the audience. I like the second. I both text and tweet, but do both with full words. This website has all the abbreviations etc: http://www.webopedia.com/quick_ref/textmessageab...

Re: Author Profile Changes
I had a problem with this because I work from a tiny notebook laptop and the 'submit' button for the profile changes is at the very bottom of the pop-up, which is off my screen. If you use firefox, you can hold ctrl and press - (minus) and that should zoom out enough for you to see the button. Also ...

Thanks Celeste I think you're right - and it's definitely been 'bugging' me - perfect word! It's like a little niggle everytime I log in.

Substantial revision of articles
Hi there I have an article up on the site that I wrote for a public request but wasn't chosen. If I'm honest, I'm not surprised, as I kinda took something I wanted to write about and twisted it so it fit the topic better. A square peg, round hole situation. I think I've learned from my mistake and I...

Re: Pricing of articles - Who is selling for $1 - $5?
I agree with Hayley and JKALLEN. As a new writer just starting off with CC, it's so tempting to put low low prices on my work just to try and rack up sales and give my fledgling ego a much needed boost! But I've sold 3 full rights articles, all for between $20 and $30, which is good for me just star...

eBay, Ebay or EBay?
I've got myself a bit confused. I want to follow Ed's guidelines on capitalization (the example he uses is 'Google'). My word processor seems to want me to write the above website as 'eBay' as the company self-capitalizes the B. However, as it's the proper name of the website, should this not be EBa...

Re: What is your CC "Eureka" moment?
Eureka!! I just had my first eureka moment. For starters, you know CC is getting under your skin when you get up at 3.30am to write an article that you can't get out of your head. So I turned on my computer to write it, and lo and behold, another sold article! I sold my first ever article for a requ...

Re: Constant Content Gets an Update
Just a very little aside, I logged onto my profile page this morning and lo and behold, not my picture but a picture of a young man wearing a backpack! When I click on 'change picture' it was still showing my original picture that I uploaded. The problem was quick to fix, I just uploaded a new image...

Re: Where have all the public requests gone?
hmmm interesting. My personal gardening experience isn't very wide, but I am trying to build up a bit of a herb garden on my balcony, which is a great way to save money on shop-bought herbs if you use a lot of them... (ideas for blog articles on window boxes and herbs starting to form... thanks guys...

Re: Where have all the public requests gone?
[quote="Celeste Stewart"]Here's an idea to add to the list. I've been wanting that "upside down tomato plant" since I saw the commercial - and of course wanting to write about the science (if any) behind such a thing. Does it work? Benefits - hard for critters to steal your tomat...

Re: Where have all the public requests gone?
And thanks for the 'congratulations' Hayley! It means a lot that people on this forum and are so supportive. I'm really enjoying reading the posts and have got a lot of useful information from them. For example, I just got a rejection because of capitalization errors - going back and reading it agai...
