Missing Referral Payments
I've referred quite a lot of writers to Constant Content over the years and have always tried hard to help them increase their earnings. Earlier this year I referred my cousin to the site and I've always received a couple of extra dollars for work she's sold. Over the past month she has started maki...

Re: Paid in US or Canadian Dollars?
Wow this sounds like a lot of hassle. I'm in Australia and receive regular payments from CC in US dollars without any problem since 2008. If I'd known we had the option of receiving Canadian dollars, I would have done that simply because the exchange rate from CAD to AUD is far more favorable than U...

Account Suspended - Why?
Hi, My account was recently suspended after several years of selling very well on Constant Content. Apparently something I submitted flagged Copyscape. Yet I wrote it from scratch myself before submitting. I take my writing very seriously, so this was a complete surprise to me. I've had lots of arti...

Seconded. I logged into the forum just now to ask this same question.Peejay wrote:Any chance we could have the referral link added back to the author status page? Would be handy to see again there somewhere if it can be fitted in.

Question about "Waiting" Status
Hi,
I have an article that has been sitting in "waiting" status for months now. Does this mean the person who was going to buy it hasn't paid? Can I get this confirmed as a sale or returned to available article status please?
Cheers,
Raven

UK vs. US English
Hi, In the case of specific requests from clients seeking information to suit an Australian or British audience, this would mean submitting work written in UK English. There are multiple grammatical discrepancies between UK English and US English, including variances in comma usage and formality of ...

Re: I have 33 referrals
I currently have 54 referrals. Of those, only four have sold anything. One of those has sold more than 20 articles and seems to be doing well. Still, the tiny bit of commission we receive isn't enough to retire on. It just helps out a little. Oh - and my writing name here on CC is not the same as my...

Account Suspended
HI there, Last night when I logged into my account, it was running fine. I had a new article approved yesterday and still had several on the marketplace. I also had more than 30 referred authors on my account. Today when I logged in, it tells me my account is suspended. I checked my email to find ou...

Re: Font and Formatting
Thanks again. I had no trouble submitting prior articles and getting them accepted with my old computer and old software. I shall remember to check the font type of any future submissions before I upload them from now on.
Thanks again,
Bianca

Re: Font and Formatting
Thanks for your quick reply Ed. I've deleted the articles I had waiting for review and modified the file type to Word 1997-2003 compatible and amended the font to Arial.
Is this likely to be more acceptable for submission purposes?
Thanks
Bianca

Font and Formatting
HI there, I recently upgraded to Word 2007 and submitted my first article using this format. The default font on the new Word program is Calibri - which looks just like a rounded version of Arial. I forgot to amend the font to Arial or Times New Roman prior to submitting the article and it's now bee...

Re: Rejected for Grammatical Errors
Thank you Ed. I've just submitted a further five articles that I realize are likely to contain some UK grammar usages. I'll edit these before you get to them and hope I've got them right according to your guidelines. I really don't need a third strike against me for something like this when I've ref...

Re: Rejected for Grammatical Errors
Thanks so much for the clarification. I work hard to write using the US-version of English for all my articles, but I do sometimes tend to slip into UK English grammar usages unintentionally. This can often mean our way of talking sounds a lot more formal than the more conversational style of the US...

Rejected for Grammatical Errors
Hi there, I'm a little confused as to the reason for my latest rejection. I'm a native UK English speaker, so our usage of punctuation such as commas is frequently different to the US-version of the English language. The topic was loan modification, which is a niche topic that requires explanation o...
