Re: Change in CC Clients
Yeah that's him. I always liked him. He'd chat with a customer and send them to my profile. I'd get sales from that, but poop I lost that nice little perk. Maybe some of the other PMs do it too, but Chris contacted me a lot until I hiked up my prices. At that point, I think I priced myself out of th...

Re: Change in CC Clients
I don't even look at them. I just delete the emails.
I'm in Chris' LinkedIn network and he apparently went somewhere else, so I lost him sending people to my profile.

Re: Links and Sources Confusion
Well this is old, but editors never cease to keep confusing me. I always thought they hated the "according to.." thing. Anyway, I think you got a rogue editor because I do stuff like that and it's supposedly fine.

Re: Grammerly User?
I've read that Hemmingway app is better than Grammarly. I haven't tried the latter. Hemmingway was a PITA. I had a customer insist that I use it.

Re: Preferred Word Processor?
Have you checked out Libre? Just recently discovered it (it's open source) and offers plenty of extensions, i.e. grammar checkers (https://extensions.libreoffice.org/@@search?SearchableText=grammar). Currently using WPS Writer but might start playing around with Libre for CC submissions. Maybe I'm ...

I lurve HiredGun so much. He catches this stuff. I miss when these forums were really active and a ton of writers were around to catch this stuff.
Anyone remember Digital Pointless and Associated Content being our main thieves? It's one reason I refuse to do anything on Digital Pointless.

Re: Preferred Word Processor?
I'm still using Word 2007 lol. I really don't want to work with cloud stuff for personal things, so I still have the local application. Plus, paying for monthly subscriptions sucks. One of these days I'll buy it flat but I'm not paying a monthly fee for Word lol.

Re: Refused article
I get away with some things sometimes. I was adding pictures for a while and it was great cuz I was selling and then they told me pics aren't allowed. Lame.
I got away with "let's" a few times too and then I got caught. xD
