Re: Resources
You're welcome, Cany - have fun! The only issue I've ever had with Bookworm is that it provides definitions for many words that I know -- and not for some that I don't know. As a fun pastime, however (and one that you can easily put away quickly, unlike a riveting book, for example), it's nice to ha...

A good reference page to bookmark is http://www.refdesk.com/ . They've got lists of reference materials, recommended sites, daily facts etc. in addition to links to magazines and newspapers you might otherwise overlook. Re: November 2009 Just Do It Challenge - Who's In?
Thanks for that, Debbie. It does help! I guess I've become lazy over the years. Long ago, I used to *have* to come up with ideas in order to pitch them to magazines; then I moved on to being assigned stories and later I got into copy writing where the subject is again always provided (ie., whatever ...

Re: November 2009 Just Do It Challenge - Who's In?
My goal is to submit a minimum of 18 articles per week, with the net for each article averaging $15 or more. Since I'm a bachelor with no kids and a modest lifestyle, I could actually live on that as a minimum. Hopefully my earnings will exceed it, though! So basically I'll have to write 3 articles...

If you are copying from a word doc, maybe try first copying to a code/format-free txt. Sometimes the formatting in Word can cause glitches in other programs and that may be what you're experiencing here.

I don't know if this is the same guy, but Mike Sandy at ezinearticles.com stole my CC article called "Top 10 Ways to Keep Your Relationship Hot". (He had changed the article title slightly to "A Few Ways to Keep Your Relationship Hot".) I found it by pasting one paragraph of the ...

After eating fatty food, the gallbladder releases bile into the small intestines where it is excreted from the body. I understand it's not the gallbladder that's eaten the fatty food; but I'm not sure what's excreted from the body -- the food or the bile. Also, maybe instead of "where it is ex...
