Re: The Keyword Analysis is confusing
I recently wrote to support about this issue. I always do my own live keyword analysis before I submit work for approval. My results have been very different than CC's. Support responded by confirming that their keyword calculation is based on the article sample and since I only place a portion of m...

Re: References not allowed.....?
Hi Five-to-Nine, You probably got a rejection because your links were live which is a no no. Customers don't want text that will drive readers away from their site onto another. List your sources at the and of your article, but remember not to put a http or www in front of them. Just list mayoclinic...

Re: cilantro or coriander
Hi Jaye,
With regard to the fresh herb or plant, we refer to it as cilantro in the U.S. Coriander is only used in relation to the dried, bottled variety.

Re: Fiction
There's a fairly new genre called 'flash fiction'. It's gaining popularity online and there are several sites that actually pay upon publication, but it's not easy to please the publishers. Flash must be no more than 1,000 words and the prose must be somewhat sparse, but still very engaging. The pub...

5 Gift Trends Request
Just a head's up, this customer is also advertising the same exact request on Helium for $16.00. Personally, I think that stinks...

Re: Need encouragement
Hi Sue, Welcome to CC! I can only speak for myself, but most of my articles have 30-50 hits before they finally sell and sometimes even more. On a few occasions, I've sold articles after just a few hits, but it is really a matter of when the right customer shows up. Also, keep in mind that many of t...

Re: New Theft - Garden Article
Here is an update on how I finally got that content removed: 1. I sent the publisher / thief 3 notices via the 'contact us' sections and directly on the 'comments' sections. He did not respond. 2. I then went into a site called http://www.dawhois.com, where I found all the domain info including the ...

Re: New Theft - Garden Article
Hi J.A. I used to post whole articles, but I had so much theft this past year that I now post only a portion. The garden blog thief stole the sample and it was available for full rights. I have had article samples stolen before, but can't see how I can reduce content further without jeopardizing sal...

New Theft - Garden Article
Just found one of my gardening articles on this blog - http://www.click-to-grow-tomatoes.com/. The blogger stole the sample content, then added both his name and mine for bylines (huh?). How nice of him to give me credit, maybe he thought that was compensation enough without payment. Garden writers ...

The Importance of Asking for a Byline?
Hi, This question is for Celeste and anyone else who cares to comment. I recently sold an article for useage to a cardiology practice. Though I always put my byline underneath the title, they did not include it on their site upon publication. If I let it go (and not ask support to step in) my concer...

Re: Introducing a Minimum Price For Articles
As of today, I'm seeing fullrights articles selling for $5.00. I wonder if these were offers or originally priced this way. Either way, this sets a new low ebb for the rest of us and some publishers may get in the habit of low-balling on a regular basis. I received an offer recently from a customer ...

Finding Sold Content on the Web
Just wondering, does anyone have any suggestions for finding sold CC content on the web? I read some time ago that some of our publishers leave web links so we can find the articles they purchase. I haven't seen this anywhere. I track through Google and Plagium, but wondered if I'm missing something...
