Re: 2 Rejections in one day :-(

Hey...ummm...

I have been absolutely frozen like a deer in the headlights...I wonder...would anyone be willing to look at one of *my* articles?

I wonder....maybe I could even chip in a bit of money via pay pal or something??? Let me know...

Re: Trying to Delete an Article

Phil and Debbi: There is this great essay by Anne Tyler where she describes juggling parenting with writing...at one point she tries using a tape recorder, but says it doesn't work for her because she found herself calling out things like "Get John out of that bar! He's not a drinker!!" wh...

Re: Trying to Delete an Article

You know, don't forget that you can *really* easily just plug in an external monitor, keyboard, and mouse (no one has mentioned the irritating track ball on the EEE PC). It's an option... Plus, you do get used to differences. Researching is super important so you know what the obstacles are. It took...

Re: Trying to Delete an Article

Love my EEE PC. Asus is a great company. I did a lot of research, and am very happy with it. Pros: Cheap Dependable Easy to use Great battery Reliable company with good products/best motherboard in the business right now Cons: Keyboard funky...check out reviews...it helps if you have small hands It'...

Re: Trying to Delete an Article

Weird...no. I'll try again. I am on a little net book...maybe the box is in a corner or something and I couldn't see it.

Thanks.

Trying to Delete an Article

Hi!

I have an article that will not die! I have been trying to delete it (it's under review) but it won't go away...what can I do?

All I *have* done is click the "delete" button a few times...maybe there is a trick I don't know about?

Re: 2 Rejections in one day :-(

Hi Phil! Just thought I'd jump in and let you know how *incredibly* patient I am finding everyone here : ). I know I can be impulsive, but for whatever reason, I kept submitting the same article and making ***really*** stupid mistakes. I have put the article out of its misery (thankfully, finally) a...

Re: A Coyote Ate My Cat

Celeste: When I saw this subject line, I skipped it at first because I thought it must refer to some special hidden Constant-Content secret society or something...not a "real" coyote and a "real" cat... In any case (I lurk here way too often...this is such a kind forum!) I decide...

Re: Rejection: "You may ask "usage rights only" for articles pub

Ed: Before I thought about it further, I resubmitted. However, I completely agree with you. I am going to submit something entirely different. I think that "sulfur" article is jinxed. I seem to be in love with the phrase: "Sulfur is the third most common mineral in the body." Tha...

Re: Rejection: "You may ask "usage rights only" for articles pub

Ah! I found the article in question. I *am* sorry. I has been under the impression that this article "Detoxing With Sulfur" had not been published (For some reason I had filed it so on my computer.) I cannot believe how I seem to be destined for "rejection" here. I am going to tr...

Rejection: "You may ask "usage rights only" for articles pub

HI! I'm still plugging away trying to get this article out of the "rejection" pile...I think I am almost there : ) I just got an odd rejection, though: I can only ask usage rights for articles published elsewhere... This article is not published anywhere else... What could have happened to...

Re: Suspension Question & Apology

Thanks for the encouragement. I am thrilled with the quality here. I honestly am glad for the wake up call. I just re-resubmitted an article...greatly modified. I hadn't been suspended yet, but really couldn't figure out the policy...I wasn't totally sure if it was "three strikes" and you'...

Re: Hello

Thanks for your quick reply! I appreciate it very much.

Again, with much embarrassment, I have to admit to *knowing* the rules...now it is just a matter of *following* them.

Thanks again,
