That's it, thanks niche. How did you know how to find it?

affiliate list
Hi everyone,
It's been ages since I've been here, and I see that a few things have changed. One question I have is where can I find my affiliate list? It seems to have disappeared. Thanks!

Re: Fiverr.com
Thanks Amy. I took a look too, though I didn't try to post anything. It's nearly an exact copy of fiverr, and when I saw it, only had 3 gigs up. I couldn't really tell what to make of it. Maybe it's legit and just new, still ironing out the wrinkles, but I certainly wouldn't bother with it until it ...

New public request for proofreading
A public request was just posted requesting that writers interested in proofreading a brochure contact the requester directly: "if you email me at [addresss] i will send you the brochure via publisher file and you can revise and i will choose the best option." What is the proper way to add...

Re: Oftentimes vs Often
This doesn't help answer your question at all, but one of my favorite words to make fun of is "disirregardless." They don't get much sillier than that.

Re: How do you write a non-opinion based article?
Celeste, Yes, I realize my example isn't of "editorial"-type writing, but I was deliberately trying to pick a somewhat subtle distinction between fact and opinion to make the point. If a buyer requested a piece for his travel website to lure people to Italy, that kind of writing would of c...

Re: How do you write a non-opinion based article?
The most helpful excerpt from those links is probably Ed's comment: " If the idea or concept can not be supported by fact, or if the article is based upon the opinion/perspective of the author, the article is generally rejected." [emphasis added] Most articles here are informative in some ...

Re: Working on my first clip
But wouldn't you make about 10x more selling your article to the magazine? Can you get the eds to tell you what the "right composition" would be and reshoot? If press photos exist, can you lean on the bar manager more to get them? I'd think people would want their press photos out there; t...

Thanks. I assume you're talking about the $100 article. That's about the way I would've priced it; good to know.

Re: What is your CC "Eureka" moment?
Congratulations Cheryl and Amy! Those are great sales. May I ask the length of your $50 and $100 articles? I'm always trying to get a sense of what works in terms of pricing.

Second: "Technical Publication, Ars Technica noted that Office 2010 supports 64 bit editions of all Windows operating systems, but that of Windows XP. " Friends, is this sentence wrong according to the first link at OWL above? I belive it's not. What you think? The problem here seems to b...
