Re: editing usage price
Sorry long time getting back to your comment Lysis - didn't want to let this one drop because it's actually really bugging me now. I'd really like to change some of my old usage prices - used goods sell cheaper, right. From the customer's perspective, surely that's the whole point - if they buy Usage...

Re: editing usage price
I agree Pellucidean - why on earth can't we edit our own pricing? It seems like a very basic function when you're in the business of selling stuff. Anyone know?

Re: editing usage price
Thanks WG. Oh well, new articles to be getting on with instead of faffing about with old pricing I suppose...!

editing usage price
Am returning to CC after few years absence and thought I'd tidy up my content. Can't seem to edit my Usage rights prices in the edit section of 'my content'. Any idea why?

Re: Title Glitch
Something I'd like to see is a search within profiles. If, for example, a writer brands herself as an authority on a topic, uses social media to self-promote etc., buyers click on a link to her CC profile, but have to weed through her catalog to find titles on her niche topic. The buyer then goes t...

Re: Summary says that article is unavailable.
It may be a browser issue. I've been seeing that message for a few months now in Firefox, but if I use IE everything appears normal. It is a bit worrying though that this may also be what customers are seeing.

And remember, you're only going to see $65 of that $100.

Re: Usage License
Yes, J.A. - this has happened to me a few months ago - just once as far as I know. I did contact support about it but nothing changed. I was tempted to leave a snotty message in the comments box on the blog, but I thought it would look pretty unprofessional for both myself and CC if it was a genuine...

Re: Help!
My customer wasn't the Italy guy either, but a 'genuine' customer who had no problem immediately sending me a private request once I'd told him that's what he was supposed to do (in the politest possible way, of course!). A genuine customer shouldn't have any problem with that.

Re: Help!
Did the customer send you an actual private request or just a private email requesting an article from you. I had a similar thing happen - the customer sent me an email asking me for articles - but I couldn't submit anything. I asked him to send an 'official' private request to my author account so ...

Re: Articles still getting "stuck"
Yes April - I had something similar happen in the last couple of weeks. I submitted two articles to separate requests and both sat with the requesters for at least a week (I think one was gone for two weeks). Anyway, they were eventually returned to the pool, but neither had been viewed by the respe...

Re: IE 9 and Article Samples
I'm still getting the message 'This article has been sold or removed ....etc'. I just updated Firefox from 4.0.1 to version 5.0 but it doesn't seem to work there either. (Using Windows XP Media Centre Edition version 2002 Service Pack 3)

Re: Just submitted my first article
Review times have been a little longer than usual lately (see note on author's account page). As a new (to CC) author you could be looking at a week or two of waiting - so don't get too stressed if you hear nothing right away - you'll see from other threads in the forum that plenty of other writers ...

Re: IE 9 and Article Samples
Celeste, I have the opposite problem. I can view articles in IE8 but not in Firefox. It happened a month or so ago and I'm still not sure if it's a CC issue or a browser issue, and if it's a browser issue I haven't a clue how to fix it. (Sorry, not very helpful - hopefully someone else will come up ...
