Thank you Ed,
I will take this advice. I have come to appreciate your input.
Is it ok if I leave these three as is?
I just want to make sure they are not rejected.
I will use your approach on future articles.

quick question about colons
Hello, I have a quick question. I submitted three articles and wanted to make sure I used the colon (:) in them properly. As I understand it, a colon informs the reader that what follows explains the subject of the article. The titles of the three articles are below. As far as I know, they are fine....

Can I include Excel Spreadsheets in my articles
Hello, I am just wondering if I can submit articles that have excel sheets that are pasted into the article. For instance, if I wanted to show the difference in pricing or profit from one sale to the next, I would do the calculation in excel and then paste it into the word document. Also, can I use ...

Re: Rejection of Article:
Thank you very much Debbi and Anne, It is very much appreciated. My wife wants to buy me something that I can speak into that will translate my writing onto my laptop for me. I am not very technically inclined, and am not aware of what it is called, but I think it might work. I will definitely take ...

Re: Rejection of Article:
Thanks Ed, I will do exactly that. I seem to want to get off the ground running, and get as many of my ideas on paper and on CC. However, I must remember that submitting an article that I am not 100% sure of is kind of counterproductive. If it takes up to 3-5 to review, and then comes back as not ap...

Re: Self-Editing for CC Success
Thanks Ed,
I found the mistake. I am taking notes on my errors, like "ever" instead of "every" or "chose" instead of "choose"
I will take more time between submissions and will read it slowly and check every word.
Thank you for your feedback.
Ian

Re: Rejection of Article:
Thank you Ed, I appreciate the feedback. I have started to get someone to proof read my articles. I will take more time before submitting in the future. It seems some of my mistakes are sending the wrong articles, or not sending the ones I made changes to. I have also sent the wrong document types, ...

Rejection of Article:
Hello, I hope you are doing well. Most of my articles are about 800-1200 words, so I know sometimes I can make an error. However, I am at a bit of a loss to understand why my recent article was rejected twice. I understand the first time, but not the second.. I know that if you read the same thing o...
