Re: Title Change

That's a good suggestion for the future and I will remember that next time. As for this time, I'd like to remove the article and start again if I cannot get the title changed prior to it being reviewed. How do I go about doing that? I tried removing the file itself, but the article still appears as ...

Title Change

I know this has been asked before, but I have browsed the forum for an answer and it seems I need to request that my title be changed since the article is already in review. The title on the document itself is correct, but I messed up somehow on the actual submission title. It currently reads "...

Two different answers from the OWL

So is it: "social security number", "Social Security number" or "Social Security Number"? The Carnegie Mellon writing resource says to use "social security number" and only to use capitalization when referring to the Social Security Administration. I checked t...

Re: A lot of hits but no sales

I'm probably going to get laughed at, but how do you check how many hits your articles each have? I have been browsing around for a few minutes trying to figure it out, but I can't seem to figure out where to go to do it.

Re: Computer Issue?

Thanks Ed. :) I am going to resubmit the articles one by one. In case my files are getting corrupted somehow, I don't want even more rejections going onto my record before I can identify and fix the problem.

Computer Issue?

I had something rather odd happen this afternoon. Three of the articles I submitted were returned with the following message: "Type must be 12 pt Arial or Times New Roman font. " I thought it was odd, since I have never used anything other than 12pt Times New Roman. It seemed easy enough t...

Re: Random accusatory emails?

Wait a sec...so anytime we send an email to anyone we get a warning? Sounds like a glitch in the system that should be reported.

Re: Question about conclusions

This discussion has been more helpful than you know. The more I read the forums, the more I learn. You've also given me some new ideas in the course of this thread. :)

Question about conclusions

Good evening folks :) I've been hanging onto my first article for several days now. I've been rereading it, tweaking it, and trying to get up the guts to submit it! lol Anyway, I was reading the Writer Guidelines for what seemed like the millionth time and I noticed that it mentioned all articles sh...

Comma Question

I have looked this up online and I am finding different information. Concerning items in a series, is it: "apple, pear, and banana" or "apple, pear and banana" I had always, always, always used a comma after every item in a series. Recently, however, it has been drilled into me b...
