Just to be sure...
We aren't going to get a tax form from CC, right? They are not based in the US, so I should just put my earnings in the "extra income" category on my taxes, right? I do not make enough to file self employed quarterly taxes, so as of right now I'm thinking this is what I am supposed to do.

Re: Site Update
Hello, I'm having trouble navigating the new setup. I have a potential customer who has emailed me asking more detail about an article, and I cannot find a way to view the entire article. I have the article saved in a different laptop, but it has issues with the power supply and I cannot power it on...

Re: concerned about taxes
Wow, Elizabeth! Thank you for the reply! That information was very helpful! We are in a low income tax bracket (my husband works construction and I stay at home with our 2 young children) so we typically don't owe anything at tax time. That part about owing over $1,000 cleared it up--thank you. I go...

concerned about taxes
Hi all, I am relatively new to the freelance writing concept, and although I am enjoying it, I am kind of scared about taxes. I do not make lots of money (MAYBE a few hundred a month here and the same on ehow), but I heard something about estimated taxes and it has me concerned. I don't want to get ...

Re: Average number of hits before a sale?
Thanks for the replies!
I usually list about 15 keywords for each article--do you think that is enough or do some people actually fill up the keyword box?

Average number of hits before a sale?
Hello! I was wondering what everyone's average was for number of hits before an article sells. I only have about 20 articles up, so I know that I haven't reached the "critical mass" where things start selling, but I have 3 articles that have sold for full rights at between 60-80 views and ...

Re: Constructive Criticism Thread
Thanks Elizabeth. I didn't know that tidbit about SEO. I just want to make sure that I do which ever one is right! :) I guess referencing that State Farm website wouldn't be much help, huh :) Debbi, I agree that renters's is pretty weird. I wish there was a direct outlet to Ed and he could chime in.

Re: Constructive Criticism Thread
Thanks Debbi. That's what I thought too but I just wanted to be sure before I wrote an article flooded with grammatical errors that I *know* are wrong.

Re: Constructive Criticism Thread
it's me again :) Here's a quick question that has me stumped. I am now writing about renters insurance, and I'm not sure whether to use an apostrophe or not (make it "renter's insurance"). Most insurance companies and places on the web do not use an apostrophe, however, since it is insuran...

Re: Constructive Criticism Thread
Great news! That article that I posted a question about on the previous page was just accepted---WAHOO! Thanks for your help! Now this is a quick question about hyphens (something that has always confused me)... I am writing about "iron rich foods" and I was wondering if it should be "...

Re: Constructive Criticism Thread
Hi Celeste, Thank you for your feedback! That is such a good catch about the verb agreement as well. I don't know if it is just being 7 1/2 months pregnant or what but I seem to be making a lot of those mistakes lately. :D I really like the way that you re-worded the sentence. It is much clearer and...
