Is anyone else waiting on payment for Lakeside treatment articles? The first few sold instantly, but now I have six just sitting there :(

Re: Received a written flaying

Hi! Sorry you had such a bad experience, the customer sounds awful! I have had revision requests before, but they just suddenly appeared in the revisions section. I think the customer is responsible for submitting a request for revision. How much of your articles are you displaying in the preview se...

Re: Why Are The Writer Pools Suddenly So Slow?

Oh good so its not just me getting frustrated with this! I could understand if it was just one customer that buys late. Then we could make sure not to pick up large amounts of requests from the one customer so not to end up out of pocket at the end of the month, but when I wrote the original post I ...

Why Are The Writer Pools Suddenly So Slow?

I am in several writer pools and only submit content to them rather than to the general catalogue. For the last few years the work has been great as there are always plenty of requests to claim and the customers always purchase within a few days of the due date. BUT, for the last two months all clie...

October Pay

Did the mid October payments go out yet? I finally completed and sold a bunch of articles just now and am not sure if I made the payment deadline?

Re: Job Offer

Thanks for the replies. It was a private email and not a casting call. I was also worried about violating the terms and conditions of CC although the sender never mentioned email addresses or contact outside of CC, just wanted a resume from interested parties. I will point them to my catalogue as yo...

Job Offer

I just received a message through CC from a recruiter looking to hire freelance writers. It seems like a great opportunity but just wanted to check that it is actually a legitimate message and not a scam.

The message asks for writers to reply with their resume. Anyone else receive this?

Re: Account permanently suspended

Pretty much everything I submit is getting rejected lately and often for things that are not technically mistakes but more the editor's personal taste. For example, one editor rejected a restaurant review because I wrote 'the restaurant's interior' and suggested I use a word such as 'chamber' or 'di...

Re: Several Rejections

Thanks so much for the feedback you guys, I guess I will have to abandon my beloved long sentences once and for all. To me an article with short sentences reads like a telegram for some reason.

Anyway, Happy New Year to all!!!

Several Rejections

Just had a lovely rejection from the editors: If you continue to submit content that contains independent clauses inappropriately joined by "and," your articles will be deleted without being reviewed. We have addressed this issue several times in the past and cannot continue to reiterate s...
