Re: Have Not Received Client's Request
Thank you, Celeste, that makes sense. I was a bit concerned when I received his message as I was anxious to reply to him. Thankfully, it was quickly resolved and I'll keep this in mind next time.

Have Not Received Client's Request
Hello All, I've submitted this question directly to C-C, but since I've never had to contact them before I'm not certain as to how long a reply takes and I've decided to share here in the hopes of gaining insight, as well. Yesterday, a client inquired about my availability to work on a request. Afte...

Re: Writing Pool
Thank you for this reply as I'd been wondering the same thing. Didn't realize it was by invitation only and that I'd received mine back in 2011. Thank goodness it was still in my inbox. Have now applied for several pools and am waiting for approval.
Thanks, again!

9/15/11 Payment
Hi Everyone,
I've been out of the C-C loop for a while, but I was expecting a payment yesterday and have yet to receive it. Have semi-monthly payment dates changed?
Thanks!
~L.

Re: I have 33 referrals
Of those people, only one of them have submitted one article. Is this typical? I think it may be. I have 9 and only 1 person has submitted (and sold) an article. I spoke to another writer who has even more referrals than you do and none of hers have submitted a single piece. I send all of my referr...

Re: I'm Afraid I'm Developing an Addiction
Thanks, Charlotte, and I'm so glad you found FreeRice! Now, that's a habit you don't want to kick. ;) There was a similar word game I was stuck on for about a month a couple of years ago, but it was interactive. LOADS of fun! I'd forgotten all about it until this morning. If I can find it again, I'l...

I'm Afraid I'm Developing an Addiction
To a new passive income site known as List My 5. There, you create lists on your top 5 "whatever" and are paid according to page views. It's too new to know if there's any real money to be made, but I love creating the lists, so it doesn't really matter much to me if I don't make a dime (a...

Re: question about using bullets
Are you using Word? I ask, because I had a similar problem when I was using Open Office and GoogleDocs. Now that I'm using Word again, problem solved...almost. When I post in the summary, I still have to manually correct the spacing between the bullet and the text. As for spacing, I'm not sure that ...

Re: Revisions
Makes sense and I figured you to have established a comfortable trust level with your clients. I was thinking more of a first-time private request. Good to know there's a system in place though and your comments have definitely helped to ease my concern.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: Revisions
Celeste, If the entire article is posted in the long summary, what's to stop the client from copying the article and never purchasing the attached document? It probably doesn't happen much, but it is possible, right? I haven't received a private request yet, but I'm studying the process so that I'll...

Private Request Deadlines
What's the turn around time on private requests? Is there a set standard or does it vary by request?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: Public Request Submissions and Timing
I'm so glad that I asked this question, because I'd never spotted the "Request Status" field. Here I am assuming that I'm too late and realizing that this isn't the case at all. Wow! Thanks so much for bringing this to my attention, Celeste!
