Thank you Sherry!
That first one was for a request. There was a 0 next to the customer's name. I thought that meant that no other writers had written for him. But now I see that it means he hasn't bought here before. The deadline isn't here yet so there's still hope.

Re: First Article was Accepted
Wordcraft, don't feel so bad. My article was sent back for revision a couple of times. If it hadn't been for the long review time this week it would have been rejected again, probably for the last time. I just happened to take another look at it at the last minute and found another mistake! Self edi...

Thank you Ed! And thanks to everyone who answered my newbie questions.
Now, if someone could please peel me off the ceiling, I might be able to write some more.
Appreciate you all,
Polly

Re: Authors You Admire
Oh, so many new names to investigate. Thank you. I've never read any of Patrick O'Brien's books but my Dad talks about them quite often. I'll have to check them out. Two books that I particularly enjoyed that my friends just couldn't get into – presumably because of the unusual writing style- were, ...

Are there any modern authors who's writing style makes your heart leap? I'm not talking about a favorite book or story; I...

Re: OpenOffice and other questions
Thank you so much for the speedy replies! Oh dear, Ed, is that a hint? I had a title for that article but I began to second guess myself and decided that the customer probably wanted it worded that way for SEO purposes. I’ll be sure to make up original titles in the future. Thanks again to you all. ...

OpenOffice and other questions
Hello, I'm very new here; my first two articles are still under review. I have a few questions: Is anyone here using OpenOffice? Does CC accept the default ODF text file? I've been converting mine but it's one extra thing to remember and I know I'll mess up eventually. Can the title of the article b...
