No, my three articles were released back into general sale shortly after I emailed support for the second time.

Contacting support?
Hi everyone, I have to contact support to ask them to email a client so that he/she will buy or return 3 of my articles (currently on "waiting" for 2 weeks). I sent an email via "contact us" but haven't heard anything in almost a week. Is that the proper way to contact support, o...

Re: Please change from "waiting" to "sold"
Jane,
I guess so. I'll just keep plugging away, and give support an email in a few days so I can get those articles released from the person's cart.
What are the chances that a reminder email from support will actually result in a sale? Wishful thinking on my part?

Re: Please change from "waiting" to "sold"
I wish I could say that the articles I have as "waiting" have been sold..but they haven't. They're in limbo, presumably forgotten in someone's cart. How frustrating - to get excited, thinking I was going to FINALLY have a sale (three, in fact!) but I guess I was mistaken. I too would be in...

Jane,
Thank you. I too am hoping they convert to sales. It would be nice to kick-start my sales with three at once!

Re: Need Encouragement?
Ok, this is a little off topic of the encouragement thread, but here's a question: how long are articles usually in the "wait" queue? I first noticed them last night, and it's been about 9 hours. Is that normal?

Re: Need Encouragement?
jadedragon - thanks!
I'm so excited..I see that three of my articles are showing as "waiting"....I assume that means someone has placed the articles in their cart? And now I just need to wait for the sale to go through....

Need Encouragement?
Hi all. I'm relatively new here (joined around June 12ish) and have 29 articles submitted, 28 accepted. I've sold one, a request - early on (I think it was day 2!) so that got me pumped. I've been responding to a lot of the requests and have also submitted some non-requests, but not many. Sometimes ...

Re: Best Grammar sources (British English)
I second the motion by GyZ re The Elements of Style. I picked it up last week and it's very good. Small but information-dense.

Re: Question about review order
Yay!
I have one requested article still waiting. But I am starting to learn patience....
Now, if I could start selling, I'd feel much better about myself. I have close to 30 articles on here, and only 1 sale. gah.
