Using the title "Dr."
This is kind of an odd question, but I was wondering if constantcontent actually reviews the credentials writers claim to have. If someone calls themselves "Dr." on here, does constantcontent actually verify that they have completed the education necessary to use that title?

Re: Weird email supposedly from CC...
Well, you never can tell these days. After seemingly scratching and clawing your way to a few sales, it almost seems too easy to have C-C admin. contact you with the prospect of steady work. lol Thanks for responding. Hopefully these opportunities will turn into steady work for many different writer...

Re: Weird email supposedly from CC...
Any new information on this, Antonia? I also received an email from "Eric Hoppe" asking about writing articles for a client.

Re: Basic Offer Questions- Newbie
Hi Abby. :) I'm kind of newer here, but my understanding of this is that you just change the status on the drop down to "accept", and then whenever the merchant gets around to paying for the article, it's sold. I think it may be possible to receive an offer, choose to accept it, and then h...

Re: What I've learned from writing on spec. . .
I'm newer here and don't have too much experience to draw upon, but I do think it's funny that I've written a couple of articles that were based on a whimsical idea that bordered on being a joke, and they sold fairly quickly. At the same time, I've written articles to fulfill public requests and fel...

Re: Question about editing
Celeste, do you really get a pen and a Mickey Mouse cookie when you apply at Disneyland? Kind of an off-the-topic question, but it would be kind of cool if they did.

Re: question about review
I've experienced some of the same issues as you, Cosmo, but I just chalk it up to a few "oops" moments that may have occurred. Personally, I'm glad that the C-C editors aren't as hard on us as we are sometimes on them. I can't imagine having to sift through hundreds of submitted articles e...

Re: Articles in Requested Content
In addition to what Celeste appropriately offered, I would suggest writing for "public requests" even if there is a chance that the buyer has already filled their order. I wrote a piece on how to date gorgeous women, and the original requester didn't purchase my article, but someone else d...

Ok, thanks Celeste. As always, you're right here to help curious authors. C-C should pay you for your contributions to the forums.
Maybe we should get a petition going?

Re: Question about editing
Thanks for responding to my inquiry, Celeste. I figured that there might be a pecking order, but I just wanted to make sure for the sake of my own expectations. I understand the reasoning you laid out, and I agree with that train of thought. It is frustrating to have to wait longer, but I suppose th...
