Is everything in the "editorial information" relevant?
I just had a submission rejected, with this comment under "editorial information": Please professionally format your articles in 12 pt. Times New Roman or Arial black font with single spaced paragraphs and a double space between paragraphs. A full space between paragraphs helps the reader ...

Re: Reselling something already published in my name
Oh, I don't know then. Maybe you got two different editors for the two articles, and the second one was being very literal about the names having to be the same? Or maybe it was just a glitch?

Re: Reselling something already published in my name
Are your names exactly the same on both sites? Google shows a Gary Bourque on Helium, but not here.

Re: Is it okay to use similar titles?
Well here's one way to look at it... what if the same customer bought "Things To Do in NY in Feb" and "Things To Do in NY in Winter" and realized there were large chunks of the exact same text? How would the buyer's readers react? That's why we say it is always best to change up...

Re: Is it okay to use similar titles?
Yeah, I was asking about the advisability. I think I understand the technical part, but what I don't know is the advisability in terms of the Constant Content "culture." I don't want to annoy customers who might become repeat customers, but I also don't want to overlook possibilities for g...

Re: Is it okay to use similar titles?
Sounds like a good string of articles - not a series because they each must stand alone. You could also do "10 Best Things to do in Spring in XYZ" combining the best ideas from the spring months. You could also extend it and do "...with Kids" or "... as a Single" Think...

Re: Is it okay to use similar titles?
Thanks! So it would be okay to keep on using the same title, just changing the name of the month?

Is it okay to use similar titles?
I have an article I posted here with the title "Top 5 Free Things to Do in New York City in February." Would it be okay to do another article with the title "Top 5 Free Things to Do in New York City in March"? Maybe even do it as a series, one per month? And/or extend it to other...

Re: C.C. still can't see my article
I agree with ThisOldMan -- try sending it as a doc file.
I use OpenOffice, and I've had problems when I tried to submit documents as rtf files. I even had some problems with plain text. But I haven't had any problems at all since I started submitting them as doc files -- that works like a charm.

Typo in article -- can I fix it?
I just noticed in the sample section of an article that there was a typo. I fixed it in the sample, but then I checked in the article itself (in my file copy), and, yup, it was there too.
The article has already been approved. Is there any way to get into the file to fix the typo in the article?
