Re: so how are sales these days?
In my experience, both catalogue sales and private requests have been steadily drying up on Constant Content for more than a year. I posted a few months back about this in the forums, and some of the top writers agreed with me. In my case, the final nail in the coffin was the scrapping of usage righ...

Re: Quiet times here at Constant Content?
For me, the scrapping of usage rights has meant that sales of recently published articles have taken a major hit too. If you like selling usage rights content, have you thought about posting pieces on platforms like Gumroad? You could sell full-rights content on Constant Content and usage-only cont...

Re: Quiet times here at Constant Content?
Improving the search feature would definitely be a plus, especially since the current one doesn't actually work. CC staff sometimes works in the background. If you send them a note about articles stuck in waiting, they usually email the client. CC no longer phones them, so it is easy for clients to...

Re: Quiet times here at Constant Content?
Thanks for the feedback everyone - it's especially interesting to hear the opinions from a client's perspective and from the other top writers on the website. It would be great, however, to get some input from Constant Content's staff as well, but I am getting the impression that they're not nearly ...

Quiet times here at Constant Content?
Hi all, I'm wondering if it's just me or if Constant Content has really been winding down in recent months. I work almost full-time for CC, and have done for over 5 years, but my sales and income have been steadily decreasing for over a year now. I haven't even seen a writer's pool request in over t...

Re: No More Usage Rights on Constant Content?
Hi everyone, I just noticed this for the first time when I started submitting a bunch of articles this morning. I guess this is for real and not a glitch, but it would have been nice if CC had given us the heads-up about this before. For me, and I'm sure plenty of other writers here, this change is ...

Re: Has CC become super busy lately? :D
Last month was terrible for me, one of my worst in over five years of working through Constant Content for about 90% of my income. However, August so far has been quite far above average in terms of on-spec sales, so it's all very unpredictable. It seems things are starting to pick up again after th...

On-spec sales at an all-time low
Hello fellow writers! Has anyone else experienced a huge drop in on-spec sales in the last few months? In the last month in particular, I've been doing a lot more on-spec work than usual and even lowered my prices, but I'm hardly getting any sales or even article views. Fortunately, there are quite ...

Re: Article rejected for being too long
Thanks for the advice folks,
Well, I finally got it past editorial and it sold a couple of hours later.

Article rejected for being too long
Hi all! A couple of days ago, I wrote a 3000-word in-depth guide entitled "Online Marketing for Small Businesses". I've sold almost all of my online marketing-related articles (of which there have been hundreds), and this one would probably have sold within a week or two as well. It took a...

Alternatives to CC
Hi people! Constant Content has been fantastic for me for most of the last eighteen months, but recently, I am having almost no sales. In spite of publishing more articles per week than usual this year so far, I have sold next to nothing since December. In my experience, articles rarely sale if they...

Massive content theft
I have just discovered that this site, http://rapidtmp.com, is stealing enormous amounts of content from CC. On the first fives pages alone, I saw twelve of my articles including one which I wrote only yesterday evening! No wonder I've hardly had any sales since December. I imagine that most, if not...

Getting lots of emails about non-existent requests from CC.
Hi all! I am constantly receiving in my email Writer's Pool requests as well as the occasional invitation to work on a certain project. I usually see these emails as soon as they arrive in my GMail account, yet I have yet to actually see anything come of them. Everytime I click on the link provided ...

Re: More stolen content
Many thanks to your Ryan! I am not very familiar with these things and how they work, so I have been pretty confused on how to deal with it. Anyway, I will contact the hosting company right away and get the stolen content removed. Thanks again!

Re: More stolen content
I am still trying to get the content removed from the said site, but the ******* is hiding behind a proxy server, "Domains by Proxy." I have contacted the company which provides the proxy, but they are not being very helpful. I've already presented proof that the content has been stolen, y...
