How long do public requests remain private?
I have an article that was accepted on May 28th. It has not had any views since it was approved. How long will the article remain exclusively offered to the person who made the public request? If they decline to purchase it, will it go to the top of the appropriate category or get slid in among the ...

File Upload Dates
With one of my recently submitted articles, the editor found problems. I revised the piece and uploaded. The editor reviewed the old version and mentioned that I hadn't fixed the original errors. When I noticed that their suggested corrections referred to a paragraph that I had removed, I realized t...

Re: Is there a way to know how many articles have been submitted
Great question. If there's not a way presently, it would be a nice addition.

Re: Comma, or not?
I feel your pain. Since I've been a member here, I've become paranoid about commas. It's gotten to the point where I'll rewrite sentences to avoid the issue entirely. In my case, it's probably a good thing. In the past, I've been accused of being too verbose. I came across a guide that uses pl...

Re: Queue Getting Backed Up Again?
Any chance for an editor to admit how backed up we are? I've got an article still waiting since the 18th. It was immediately bounced for formatting. I fixed, uploaded and resubmitted it the same day. Just wondering if it's even still in the queue or if it got lost in limbo somewhere.

Queue Getting Backed Up Again?
Title pretty much says it all.
Submitted a piece for a request that has a number of openings. Was hoping to vie for a number of pieces but if I can't get the first one through to the buyer? sigh

Re: Scraped content and three strikes?
Hi Friday, I'm new here myself. The whole DMCA thing has almost become one of my weekly chores. It gets me so angry. 99% of the cheats know exactly what they are doing. I guess the good thing in my case is that the thefts have primarily been with the same article. Perhaps you should only submit new ...

Re: .docx - yes or no?
Is that something new? My first article was declined in that format.

Re: Scraped content and three strikes?
Why not Google a few sentences before submitting? Pick some with a little more unique phrasing or that use references to your site.
If nothing else, you can find folks who have stolen your work and maybe through a DMCA notice stop them in their tracks.

Re: Article: How long does it take to get published or denied?
I had one denied the other day in a matter of minutes for formatting. I forgot to change the blasted font. I'm guessing the editors have automated that due to the super quick response.
Otherwise, the time varies greatly as has already been said.

Re: Article Theft or Author Shenanigans?
I would have posted something in the DP thread if I knew for sure they were stolen. The poster seems to be offering quite a bit of stuff right now. I suppose the author here could simply be selling alternative versions of articles here or they could be truly stolen. It's hard to tell with only a tit...

Article Theft or Author Shenanigans?
Was looking around the content section of Digital Point this morning and found a thread offering 15 dog-related articles for $30. I haven't checked all of them but at least two have the same exact titles as articles being offered here by beconrad. Both articles are being offered here for full rights...

Re: Low balling articles
It's a shame you answered his request at all. When I saw so many requests with specific titles and no additional information, I smelled a rat. He reminded me of the people on many of the webmaster forums who think a dollar or two is 'good pay' for a 400-500 word article. With the strict grammar requ...
