What is the number in parentheses for?
On the article request page, there is a number in parentheses next to the requested title. What does that mean? Is it the number of articles that have already been submitted? Thanks, JB

Re: Resubmitting - Two Questions!
I am confused and frustrated. I resubmitted my article with the corrected font and size and was told it was still in the wrong font and size. I went back to my article in my file and checked and it is indeed correct. It is in 12pt times new roman. I only have ONE file in my documents folder so I kno...

Re: HOW TO RESUBMIT?
I guess I understood it wrong then. I thought that some people were saying, or at least implying, that it was an automatic thing. Thanks for the clarification on that.

Re: HOW TO RESUBMIT?
I resubmitted my article (hopefully I did it right) and now on the My Content page it says Status - resubmitted. Will that change to Under Review or something like that when it gets picked up by the editor? It is not easy to be patient with your first article. I read on some thread here that the 3 s...

Re: Just submitted my first article
Thank you Jaye. It has been reviewed and rejected already! I believe I fixed everything and sent the revised article back with the changes. I seriously have issues with commas. I finally bit the bullet and got out my Everyday Writer by Andrea Lunsford and reviewed the rules. I have made a cheat shee...

Re: restaurant review questions
Thanks for the helpful feedback. I got it a little too late though. But no worries, the article was rejected with errors but the locations and addresses were not at issue apparantly because they were not mentioned. I believe I fixed everything, but I will soon find out.

Just submitted my first article
Well, I took a deep breath and submitted my first article. It was a restaurant review. I do not know what to expect. I mainly wanted to just get my feet wet and see if the process was user friendly and to find out what the routine was going to be like. I am wondering how long it will take to get a r...

restaurant review questions
When writing a restaurant review is it appropriate to put the exact address and hours of operation? What if they have ten locations. Should I include a link to the restaurant's website. This is my first article and I really don't want it rejected. Since there are guidelines stating, no first person,...

Hello everyone. I am just finding my way around the site. I finished my bio and would be open to any critique or suggestions. I am excited to be here and ready to get started as soon as I look over all the wonderful help topics. I have also written for Helium, Factoidz (as Judith Barton) and Demand ...
