Re: Question about Sourcing Articles
I would definitely say that this would be against the rules. CC wants well written unique articles. You can't submit an article that is written and posted online by someone else. I believe that would be grounds for account suspension. If there's anyone reading this who has been with CC a while, plea...

Re: How to write excerpt
If I understand your question correctly, this is where you would copy and paste at least 1/3 of your article. No typing directly into this space involved, just copy and paste your article from the word document where it is saved. I hope this helps. I'm kinda new here too.

How to resubmit after corrections made
Hi everyone, I just had an article rejected for a typo. It's an easy fix, but the instructions sent to me for resubmission are confusing. The typo occurred in the last paragraphh of the article. The instructions said to go to "My Content" and click on "Edit" next to the rejected ...

Question regarding a topic category
Does anyone know what category you should put an article on guide dogs for the blind under? I've searched the category list and nothing seems to fit except for the category "dogs". That doesn't really say it right though. Any words of wisdom would be appreciated.

Re: Question regarding list indentation
After looking at my post, the text went to the left margin both times. The first text should've been indented in from the number and the entire text blocked in that way. Sorry..

Question regarding list indentation
Is there a specific format that CC wants us to use when doing lists? I can't find anything in the guidelines, but I've only seen list articles that are not numbered. What I mean is, can you submit an article in this format: 1) xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx...

Thanks Jak for your response. I will be very careful not to put my own subjective opinion in this article and just stick to the facts. I appreciate your insight.

Question regarding a topic for an article
Hi all, I'm new to CC and just had my first article published - yeah!!!!! I was so ecstatic over this yesterday that I couldn't sit still all day. Anyway though, this morning I had an idea for another article that I would like to submit. I started writing it and suddenly thought that it might too co...

Re: Some of these posts have scared me
Thank you Jak. I will definitely slow down and wait for an acceptance before submitting anymore. I just got carried away on my first day. I googled "the world is your oyster" and found this meaning. It basically means that the oyster shell is hard, but can easily be opened with the correct...

Some of these posts have scared me
Hi all, I just joined CC a couple of days ago. I was so excited about this site that I posted 3 articles in one day. After reading some of the rejection and suspended posts on this forum, I have to admit they scared me a little. I have taken off one of my articles and began to really scrutinize the ...
