How many submissions...
How many articles do people generally put in the submissions queue at once? I'm trying to decide whether to edit and submit another article today or hold off until one of the two I have is passed through.

Re: Grrrrrrr this is really annoying
I have a related annoyance and that is that when you re-attach the document, it erases any changes you made to the short and long summaries. That really should be on the page somewhere so people don't do it then fail to notice that they didn't update their summaries...and get rejected again. Please?

Re: Update to Writer Pools
Will do. I've had numerous people tell me I should be a professional software tester, because if there is a bug anywhere in any software I use or on any web site, I WILL find it.

Re: Update to Writer Pools
There is no topmost box that says "unavailable".

Re: Update to Writer Pools
Nope. I see black buttons with 'Unavailable' under all of them.

Re: Update to Writer Pools
I have 10 articles approved, but the writer pools still show as unavailable and I can't even look at them...is it glitching or am I doing it wrong?

Try reading your article out loud. That can help a lot too.

Re: Any fiction writers here?
Actually, assuming the page is 250-300 words I'd take it under normal fiction terms (first rights with an exclusivity period under my own byline). But for ghost writing, people will expect a LOT more than that.

Re: Serious formatting snafu
Okay. I have a suggestion on this.
Make sure your 'Normal' paragraph style is set to Times New Roman, 12 pt font. I know that in some cases, if the normal style is set to something, the document will arrive in that style not what you thought you had set. Just a thought.

Re: Any fiction writers here?
Okay. Fiction writer here. Fiction is not like non-fiction. Only a small percentage of fiction writers are willing to ghostwrite, and those that do demand very high prices. Is there a particular reason you want to do this project as ghost written with full rights? If you did it as a themed anthology...

Re: Rejection Process
I've had more than three rejections myself. What I *hope* the rule really means is that if you make major mistakes and don't correct them/learn from them, CC will boot you. But I'm paranoid too. I'm half afraid to submit articles in case I'm wrong and they suddenly decide to boot me. The fact that I...

Re: Current Review Times?
To be blunt, if they can't get stuff for requests reviewed by the deadline, then that is not just bad for us as writers, it is bad for Constant Content as a site...because clients are *going* to go elsewhere. I sent something in for a request that was not getting many articles, a week in advance of ...

Re: Current Review Times?
My personal big concern is an article I have posted for a public request due Tuesday...and it's now Labor Day weekend...has anyone else lost a request possibility because the editors didn't have time to review? (If it was just a random article, I wouldn't be worried, I'm patient, although I admit I ...

Okay. I'm just worried about black marks against me for rejections because I and the editor disagreed on the category.

Potentially stupid question
I sometimes write articles about equestrian stuff. Would people say I should put them in Animals or Sports? (There's no Horse section. I'm leaning towards Other Animals, but wanted a second opinion).
