I'm really not sure what it is about this site that makes everyone reiterate the "competition" aspect. I've never felt in competition with anyone here; every customer is looking for something different, and each one of us has something unique to offer--because of our style, knowledge, or o...

I sent in my article about a week ago, though I don't know if you received it. I hope so because I think I might have trashed it afterwards. Oops!

It's bad, but it's funny that you acknowledge it right on the page. I think it works because of that, rather than in spite of it. I'll try to work on something for it.

I think that has been there for awhile. I don't think anything's "coming soon." :)

That's very hostile and uncalled for. If you would ask Article Admin, check your inbox for rejection notices, or contact support, you might get an answer or a solution to your problem. Threats never got anyone anywhere.

I don't like the private request/messaging thing either. In my opinion, what makes C-C great is that a customer can put in a request, then we all type like crazy and submit and the customer has all these articles to choose from (not authors but articles!). That is what makes C-C unique and amazing....

I agree. We've had discussions about discount "bulk" pricing before, and most of us shuddered at the thought. Many many authors are under-pricing themselves. I am also wary of this new "private messaging" in the request area. What's to prevent a requestor from shopping around for...

Paypal is not a hassle. It allows you to get paid immediately in whatever form you want--direct deposit, check form, etc. It is also easier for CC, having to pay 100's of authors at various intervals.

Yes, you have to enter a bank account.

Sarah,

What a beautiful rant!

My beef is with an ignorant public who would support already wealthy celebrities when there are thousands of writers more deserving who have been pushed to the side.

Shelstyle,

There are rules here--but they're spoken. If you notice, there's a request not to post about unwritten/under review content. However, you can direct the requestor to one of your articles by looking up its number and posting a little something about it.

Personally, I worry about it damaging CC in the long run. Some customers originally willing to pay $30+ for an article will see that they can get the same article for a few bucks. It hurts everyone, in my opinion. And it's true--these people will be making money off of the work, so they should pay a...

I am in complete agreement with both of you. It's sad to see really good writers selling their stuff for $7, when the same article would go for $30 to another customer.

There are plenty of customers here who do consistent, volumbe buying at prices that are fair.

Sorry if I'm repeating a suggestion someone else had earlier, but after you upload your file, you should scroll to the very bottom of the page (the page that has the red box saying that your file type is recognized), and there should be a "complete submission" button that will finalize the...

Hi Celeste, Interesting question. I would think that, as long as the articles are positively distinct from one another, it should be okay. Just as long as you don't "plagiarize yourself." However, why not capitalize on research that you've done? For example, I wrote several supplement arti...

Requested Content Emails

I know we had this problem a couple of months ago--but I'm not receiving all of the article requests to my email anymore. Is anyone else having this problem?
