I haven't been keeping track of the number of my articles that have been accepted the first time submitted versus the number that had to be corrected and resubmitted. Is there some way to know other than personally keeping track?

It sounds like you have already written the holiday articles, so why not go ahead and submit them? And if they don't sell this year, there's always next Christmas. Last Sunday I had eight articles accepted, most of them only a few hours or a day or so after being submitted. I was happy about that, as the articles were holiday ones that needed to be available for purchasing asap.

Hi Lor, If you go to Part 11 of the extended guidelines for writers, you'll see that it has been changed to a minimum of 30 words for the short summary. I've had really low offers that I refused. However, if I had set a price of $40 and someone offered $35, I'd probably accept. I don't know if that happens often; perhaps most offers are very low.

It took about two months to get my first sale. But then suddenly I got three sales within a short time!

Thanks for your responses, jadedragon and MicheleH. I had contacted constant content over a week ago asking for what they preferred, but didn't get a reply yet. Maybe the best way to know what is acceptable is to just submit my article that has numbers and see what happens!
