Re: Anyone doing these G/O Digital Requests?
I'm always amused by the emails CC sends out begging for help with these articles, and extending the deadline further and further beyond what was originally requested. If you need something OMG right now this second, maybe try offering a higher rate for it to make it more attractive? I could easily ...

Re: 2 week review time for a 400 word article?
So I cut and paste a single line and now I have another two weeks of review to look forward to? I'm constantly amazed by the minor edits that CC editors demand from writers. I work as an editor on several content sites and I would be sacked if I sent articles back for such a minor thing, rather tha...

"Please see comments to the right" - there are no comments!
I had an article for a private request rejected this morning with the message "Please see comments to the right." However, no editor comments appear in either the resubmission form in the browser, or in the downloadable RTF file. The content form says "to see editorial notes, click on...

Re: Updated Request System
Also, are the deadlines on the request page in EST or my local time zone?

Re: Updated Request System
How do I decline a private request if the offered pay rate is ridiculously low? I assume I just send the client a message? Is there anything else I need to do?

Re: Available/Idle Status
Thanks. I'm trying to sort out the Internet connection in advance, but if I can't do that I'll get in touch.

Available/Idle Status
If I change my status from available to idle, does that prevent clients sending me private requests? I ask because I'm moving house soon and I don't know how long it will take to get internet set up in the new place... I don't want to come back to a lot of angry emails from CC support about private ...

Re: Offer offer offer... and no sales.
I get that a lot too, again from "info". I wonder if this customer is using a bot to make offers on tons of content and then manually reviewing just those that writers accept?

Re: CC App?
Personally, I don't find the site at all difficult to access via a mobile browser, since it doesn't have a lot of fancy features to mess things up.
I would use an app if it was compatible with my OS (Android 2.3.6). A lot of new apps aren't.

Re: Hire More Editors
I mean a request that has been claimed. I'm aware that editing times for non-solicited articles or public requests are very long indeed.

Hire More Editors
I've just missed another client deadline because of the time it takes to get an article reviewed. I uploaded content on Friday morning for a pool request that was due on Sunday, and as of Monday morning it's still waiting for review. This client's deadlines are usually set only about 3 days after th...

Writer's pool page broken - can't see job details
Please can you change the display of jobs on the writer's pool back to how it was until yesterday? It is now impossible to see details for jobs. Clicking the "View details" button just brings up the writer's pool page again in a new tab. Clicking on the title of the job re-opens the writer...
