slow payer
When you write for a request and the article is approved, how long is it reasonable to wait for a purchase? I cant remember the normal limits as I havent worked here for a while, until recently. Am I right that they should buy within 2 weeks or so? Cheers!

Re: What the heck is going on?
Thanks for that WG! The email I got didnt mention Stripe: it just asked for my bank details so CC could send me the money direct, I think.. I think maybe it's because I am in the UK. The sender (cant remember her name) said that it was a temporary fix, and there would be a long term solution hopeful...

Re: What the heck is going on?
I got the email today but I am uncomfortable about giving the info they want. I imagine one would get paid, but there could still be problems later on if the information isn't kept secure. Is there anyone here with knowledge of this sort of issue who could advise? Cheers!

I got another email from an alleged customer (name ended in 888) inviting me to open attachments. I am pretty sure its another malicious one like one that several people received in April or May, so watch out!

How to change user name
I would like to change my forum user name because I find that my infrequent posts here appear in a Google search of my name, although I had assumed the forum was private. My actual name was used as an id here by Eric, who set up my login when I was having problems with doing that. Anyone know how to...

Re: Vague rejection
I am probably not the right person to answer as I don't quite understand the question but I'll have a go...Did the customer submit a private request for you through CC, which you then accepted? If so then you select 'private request' when you submit, and the title of the request then appears in anot...

Re: Writer Pool Expired Question
If it's the travel website, they have always come through in my experience. In any case, any writer pool request that you have claimed, written and submitted, should be reviewed. Mine took a while to be reviewed too this time, I imagine that there were quite a few coming in around or after the deadl...

Re: Blog based on application sample rejected
That's not an automatic rule...it depends on the reasons for rejection. I doubt if you've put yourself in jeopardy there! They should really spell it out that they don't want submissions on those topics, to be fair.

Re: Writer Pool Expired Question
Yes, you'll be fine. I don't usually claim those ones because I don't like the feeling of being late...I wish they would just shift the due date by a day or so! But if you've successfully claimed and submitted there shouldn't be a problem.

You should be able to change the price by editing the amount shown. Don't forget to click on 'save changes.I just changed one that way so it should be working.....'

Re: Revision requests
Thanks, both. It was a private request, one of two that the customer sent following a casting call which I responded to (unusual for me). Yes, the revision was free, and I was a bit grumpy about doing it, so I suspect that the customer may not buy the other private request article now. Never mind! B...
