Re: Pricing Articles
I've talked to a lot of the successful people here, and it's all over the place. I have upwards of 60 articles on the site now and sales seem to have slowed. I don't know if that's because of pricing or what. Some people say to vary your prices. Some clients buy @ $.06/word, some buy @$.10/word. Som...

First Sale!
I received my first exciting email telling me that one of my articles has been sold! That happened quicker than I thought, but I'm glad to see that it happened.

Re: Reusing existing published content
My first article took almost a week to be reviewed. The average times are shorter than that or longer?jadedragon wrote: Approvals are pretty fast now.

Re: Writer Commission?
I think this speaks to the value programs like this. Trying to rely on others to do work is *sometimes* a fruitless endeavor. The thing that I'm still wondering is how long until that first sale. For people who have been writing here, it seems like sales come regularly (please correct me if I'm wron...

Re: Review Times Again?
OK. This makes sense. If they have two editors, then I can understand that it'll take a while. If I know it's going to be about a week, that helps. I just don't like being left in the dark, and it was unclear exactly how long the process takes. If the "official" word is 2-3 days, and it ta...

Review Times Again?
I sort of feel like I'm beating a dead horse, but I've sincerely tried to get some kind of communication on wait times for articles. I'm trying to be patient, but I am stuck at 3 articles in the queue, it's been 3 days since my first submission, and I can't seem to get a simple email answered. Just ...

Re: Review times faster than ever!
I just recently signed up, but haven't had any articles reviewed yet either. I am building a backlog of articles though on my hard drive. As I understand it, I am limited to 3, then to 6, and then I'm not sure what after that. It'll be 3 days today since my first article was submitted. I've seen lon...

How do you format biblio/sources?
Hello again forum! I can't seem to find an answer to how (or where) to list references, or a bilblio, or sources in our articles. I know how to format the source, but I don't know where to put it (i.e. do you just write "references" at the bottom of your article and list them?). I don't wa...

Pricing for finance topics?
When I do a cursory glance at finance articles, I'm seeing them priced at around $30 to $50 on average. Of course, some are higher. I think word counts are ranging between 400 and 600 words. To me, that seems quite cheap once you figure in the 35 percent commission. Am I missing something or are man...

Some Basic Questions Not Covered In the FAQ
Hello! I finally made it. Unfortunately, I need to start off by saying that I spent all of yesterday and about 1/2 hour this morning trying to figure out how to sign up to CC to become a writer. I still wasn't allowed to sign up as a writer. The site gave me an error message which indicated that I w...
