Re: Refused article

I hear you, Lysis. You win some, you lose some. It could be that the editor who reviewed my article has a stake in “X” and had a “Leave Britney alone!” moment while reading what I felt was an objective product review. Or maybe he/she just doesn’t think my writing is all that sexy. My money's on the ...

Refused article

Hello, I'm responding to email I received last week concerning a submission that was refused. According to the reviewer, it was refused because CC doesn't accept articles written from a first-person POV or articles that include web addresses and subjective opinions. The article was written in second...

Email address update for authors

Are we supposed to contact specific staff members in order to have our email addresses updated? I used "contact us" and asked to have my email address updated last year, but nothing has changed. I have sold content since then, which is scary because I've heard that Gmail only allows you to...

Vague rejection

Webpage for client. Title to be determined After purchasing general or public content two weeks ago, this client contacted me and asked for additional content. I informed him/her that I would have the requested content ready for CC staff to review last Monday. Today I logged on and found that it had...

Group accounts

Some of my friends and I would like to work as a team and split the profits. Is that permissible here? :? Maybe my aging eyes are at fault, but I have looked for information about setting up a group account and came up empty.

Homepage links issue

Is anyone else being asked to sign in when you click request links? I see requests for paranormal topics, roofing and something else, but I'm being asked to sign in when I click them. The thing is, I'm already signed in. :?

Re: Question about recent searches

Lysis wrote:It's someone trying to automate or scrape. There was someone trying to do SQL injection one night too. In your pic, those are encoded URLs, so it's someone running scripts or it's some lamer spammer. I wouldn't worry about it.
I see. Thanks, Lysis.

Question about recent searches

Some of the topics aren't even words. Is this normal or some kind of glitch?

Re: OK, more than three days have passed and ...

Thanks, Lysis. The waiting is maddening  , but I'm trying to stay positive. If it doesn't sell, I will try and find a way to rework it because I spent too much time on it to just let it sit there.

OK, more than three days have passed and ...

I haven't heard a word from the client. What does is mean when they're still hanging on to your work after the three-day exclusivity period has ended? :?

Re: Would more words for more money = mo' or no sales?

Thanks for your input, Celeste and Lynnemac. It was just a thought. However, I'm beginning to have second thoughts about trying it. I don't wanna push the envelope and have it backfire on me.

Would more words for more money = mo' or no sales?

Hello out there. Relative newbie here with a question about selling articles for a bigger profit: suppose a client is offering $50-100 for 1000 words, would shopping 1100 words for more than $100 pique the client's interest or push him/her away? I welcome all responses, as I'm trying to "get my...
