Re: Elance?
I've never used them either, but I've heard it's hard to land any good paying gigs there due to all the cheap competition. Have you tried directly querying blogs you're interested in writing for?

Idle Status?
Hi, guys and gals,
After a long hiatus, I'm thinking of writing articles for CC again. When I checked my account, I saw it was in Idle status. Does anyone know what that means? Does it have any negative ramifications, or do I just need to start writing again to get it off Idle status?
Thanks!
Rick

Private Request
Hi, Everyone, I just received what I guess is a private request (I've never had one so I'm just assuming). I'd like to take it on, but just need to make sure it goes through CC. The request came from a CC customer via CC, so I'm assuming it's legit and anything I do will be handled through CC, so CC...

Re: Formatting: Are Subheaders Allowed
I figure title and sub-headers must be twelve point Times New Roman like the rest of the text, but can we bold format the title and sub-headers?

Advice on Title and Word Form
Need a little advice. In a title, how would you suggest phrasing this:
Content Rich -or- Content-Rich -or- Content-rich? I'm thinking the second form.
Also, is it "website" or "web site"?
Thanks!

Re: How to add screen caps to an article?
Speaking of images, does CC allow writers to include photos with their articles? Just curious. I heard or read somewhere that print mags are willing to pay more for pieces with photos included. It would be a way for CC writers to earn more per article, if it's not already allowed. Just thinkin'.

Research Tactics
Trying to produce quality articles in a timely manner is a never-ending pursuit. One of my hangups is research. What are some of your favorite research sources and tactics? I use the library, plus quality .org and .edu sites. Not many primary (expert/interview) sources, though I have done some email...
