Re: Update to Writer Pools

Hi there, Just wanted to throw in my support for those of you waiting for an invite from the editors. I've written maybe six or seven articles over the last two or three months, about half of them for standing requests (energy and health/lifestyles) and have had 100 percent acceptance. I received an...

Re: What do these seach topics mean?

Thanks guys, Yeah, I don't really generate articles based off of the recent searches. I usually just write what I feel like and also do holiday stuff a few months in advance. Lysis, I actually searched for you a couple weeks ago. Your name always pops up in the forums and I was curious as to what ty...

What do these seach topics mean?

Hi all, When I go to catalog sales and look at the search topics I commonly see things like "pit", "hes" and "nct"... I know what "seo" means, LOL Can anyone shed some light? I also usually see percentage signs and numbers scattered throughout certain search t...

Re: Percentage of long summary in new submission form.

Thanks,

I just went into the long summary and added the extra text. It took it! I may do that for a few other articles.

Re: Percentage of long summary in new submission form.

Does re-submitting mean going through the review process again? I also would like to change a few of my accepted articles from 50% to 100%

Re: What is your CC "Eureka" moment?

I initially signed up for the site over a year ago. I wrote seven articles in three months and none sold. I stopped writing for a bit and then three months later, got a "your article sold" email. It was exciting enough for me to jump back in and write seven more articles, three of which so...

Re: New content submission system – easier to use and improv

I received a mail from Eric informing me about the changes in the article submission process . There are a few changes: (i) The long summary has been done away with. I suppose this is a welcome change. (ii) Now the writer can post the article directly on the C-C web editor. Again a welcome change. ...

Re: Writing out measurements

Thank you!

The article was approved several days ago. I had written "A two foot square box about eighteen inches deep..." and it passed muster. It was almost exactly word for word what you recommended. Your post was very informative, so I'm planning to keep it handy.

Thank you,

Sarita

Re: verify my hyphen usage?

Upon doing some more research it appears I have a noun + present participle and they should all be hyphenated.
I'll change it up. Thanks for looking!

verify my hyphen usage?

Hi all, I've been brushing up on hyphen usage, but I'm not 100 percent on these. I think they're right, but if I could get some opinions, I'd appreciate it. Here are three examples: Egg Eating in the Backyard Flock (title) This article addresses different ways to break the egg-eating habit. Egg eati...

Writing out measurements

Hi all, I'm writing an article that, for the first time, has a few measurements thrown in. The sentence in question is "A 2ft x 2ft box about 18 inches deep is about right if you're just starting out." The question is, do I spell out the number two? How about foot? Should I use "by&qu...

glaring error in recently accepted article

Hi, I was on the home page and saw that an article entitled "How Spelling Errors and Bad Grammar Can Cost You Sales" has a glaring error in the short summary. The word 'has' instead of 'have' was used. I thought this should be pointed out. I thought I had come across a thread where issues ...

Re: Raw Cat Food article rejected - question

Hi Ed,

I realized it was a little silly to wait when all I need to do is just re-submit and double check to make sure the short summary is there.
I did have to change the title as it said the title was already in use.

Thanks,
Sarita
