Re: "Waiting" Article
I've got 3 articles sitting in "waiting" status currently. Been there for well over a week now, so I'm almost 95% sure the person isn't coming back. Sucks when they sit there and aren't available to anyone else. All are in top selling categories, so who knows if I would have net a sale or ...

Re: Help with retrieving saved drafts
You should be able to see your saved draft in your "My Content" section. In the future, I would definitely recommend writing in a word processing program and then copy/pasting your submission into the text. Make sure you also save your work frequently as you're writing. That way, these typ...

Slower Than Usual Review Times?
Has anyone noticed a bigger lag in the review times than usual? In most cases, my articles are reviewed within 2 to 3 days at the most. Currently, I've had articles go as long as 9 days before they get reviewed.

Re: Writers pools
Yikes, I finally managed to get a couple of these requests, only to be knocked back with two rejections to edit and resubmit, one partly based on my 'stating the obvious'. Ouch. Cruel but fair I suppose. This isn't easy money! I've noticed that particular pool has become more stringent with their r...

Re: Writers pools
Agreed. I always get a massive amount of "Public Pool Requests" sent to me via email. I had around 40 notifications come in while working in my email yesterday. I decided to periodically refresh the writer's pool section, just to see if any requests would appear. Did this for well over an ...

Re: List newest/newest reply posts first in Writers Form
I'm not sure why your account is defaulting to the "Ascending" view. I always see the posts as "Descending" and when I scroll to the bottom, that option is also defaulted. As for the "stickies" that Lysis is referring to, these have a different icon (shaped like a light...

Re: Claiming public pool requests
I also contacted support about this. Before, the buyer used to send out a mass email informing everyone that a certain amount of articles would be available. After that, you would see the articles pop up in the pool, ready to claim. Now, several "Public Pool Requests" go out, but when I go...

Re: How do I submit a Standing Request?
By the way, does anyone happen to know if the Lucasz.zelezny standing requests are likely to come up again, or if our wonderful buyer no longer needs so many articles on technology, energy, insurance, etc.? Lysis, S.J. Hillman - any ideas? Thanks so much! Abba May I believe they handle those within...

Re: I'm Scared..Is this site worth it?
THIS SITE IS NOT WORTH IT! Just yesterday I thanked those who encouraged me here and had my 5th article accepted. Three articles were accepted with NO problems. The other 2 listed "wordiness" or "coherence" and were accepted with changes. Today they rejected an article and suspe...

Re: Demonstrative structures, "This," "It," "That."
The rejections are helping me to improve as a writer...but it's also a bit stressful to receive three rejections in a week after having had almost 100 articles accepted in the past five months with no rejections. Like I said in other posts, I like being challenged and I want to improve my craft as ...

Re: Issues With "Wordiness" Anyone?
Appreciate all of the feedback guys! I'll just have to remember to tighten things up a bit when it's necessary. It just has me on my toes so to speak, as I'm afraid of submitting additional work with the fear of getting hit for something small like this again. Just zaps the motivation right out of me.

Re: Issues With "Wordiness" Anyone?
Thanks for the reply Abba May. One small example: "That means you have seconds to grab their attention or else you will lose them in the blink of an eye." I was told to remove the phrase "in the blink of an eye", as it was too "wordy". The phrase adds character and give...

Issues With "Wordiness" Anyone?
I've been an author at CC for awhile, but really started getting active with regular article writing here in the last 6 months or so. Since then, I've published and sold quite a bit of work. Lately, I've been having a problem with an editor who constantly kicks back my articles with the reason of &q...

Re: When to hit "complete" on a claimed request?
You click on "Complete" once the article has been submitted to that request and has been approved by the editors. This will inform the buyer that the article has been approved and is ready for purchase.

Re: Broadband, Insurance and Credit Card Articles
Any idea of whether or not this order will be finished up? These articles have been locked up for almost a week, which makes them inaccessible to other potential buyers who may be looking for similar topics.
