Re: Stripe Account
I hadn't heard anything about needing to switch to Stripe or Transferwise. I have a Stripe account but nobody said anything about needing to connect it. Apparently some people are being kept in the loop and others left to find out what's happening via the rumour mill! This is beyond unprofessional.

Re: Stripe Account
Well, that's somewhat reassuring. I've been getting paid by bank transfer, though. Not sure why that would take longer.

Re: Stripe Account
I was getting paid regularly again, but my payment for the 1st of October hasn't materialized. This is infuriating. I'd taken on additional work because I thought the problem had been resolved. Now I'm sitting here with a dwindling bank account and over $900 in my CC account that I have no way to ac...

Re: What the heck is going on?
If people outside the US aren't going to be paid using Stripe, why weren't we paid via bank transfer? Why weren't we even contacted? CC owes me almost $300 that I've worked hard for in good faith. It shouldn't be on the authors to chase up missing payments every month.

Re: What the heck is going on?
I didn't receive an email either. I also haven't received the payment I was expecting, despite CC having my bank details. I sent an email this morning but so far I've only got back an automated response.
I really don't appreciate this.

Re: What the heck is going on?
The same thing happened to me. I have lost a regular client because of this and am making no sales. It's very disappointing.

Is the platform still hiring?
Hi! A friend of mine applied for CC several months ago but still hasn't heard back. This person is a very skilled writer, highly educated, and with pieces published in the national press. I think they'd be an asset to the platform. Is Constant still taking on writers?

Re: Does Anyone Work Here?
Really? Because in my experience, as a writer attempting to fulfil direct requests, does not bear this out. I'm still waiting for a client's requests to appear on my dash, requests that were put in several days ago and have a due deadline of today. If even clients' direct requests aren't being proce...

Re: Does Anyone Work Here?
I'm having a problem with this too. I've recently picked up a dream client with lots of work for me, and the slow time-frame for approving requests means that I'm probably going to lose him again in a few weeks. My client is talking about taking his business elsewhere because of this. That's a loss ...

Re: Offer offer offer... and no sales.
I'm getting the same thing -- several offers from "info" that are sitting quietly in the queue. I was starting to worry that there might be a glitch in the system, but if other people are seeing the same thing, I guess everything is OK. Good to know!

Re: Accepted to Payment?
I don't really mind if a client offers less than I hoped to get for an article -- especially if it's been sitting there for a while with no takers. I usually don't tick the "accept offers" box when I first submit an article; if it's still unsold after a couple of months, though, I often op...

Re: Accepted to Payment?
I did think of dropping the selling price of the articles to the amount that's been offered... but then I'd probably get offers that are even lower.

Re: Accepted to Payment?
Sure, I understand that. But when there are several offers going back over a period of months without being completed, and a customer has made two offers on the same piece, it looks as if something odd is going on.

Re: Accepted to Payment?
I am starting to wonder whether there might not be a problem with the system. I've had several offers on articles which I've duly accepted. The articles are still sitting there, marked as accepted but with no further interaction. The oldest has been there since May. In one case, the same client has ...
