Re: Am I missing something about how projects work?
I have several projects (probably more than 10) that I've been invited to without any activity showing in them. Some of them are for months ago, and some are more recent. The point I'm trying to make is that this issue seems to be a common one. I think some clients just take their time, while other...

Re: Am I missing something about how projects work?
Naw it's a different one, and still as far as I can tell hasn't actually had any activity. I don't know if I'm just having terrible luck with my first two projects or what, but it strikes me as fishy that there's no actual articles up for being claimed. I can't shake the fear that I'm missing out on...

Am I missing something about how projects work?
I was invited to my first project about a month ago, but no assignments were ever listed for it in the "My Projects" menu. Two reference documents were uploaded at one point, but no activity after that. Is there something I'm missing about how to proceed once I've joined a project? I was a...

Re: Can we not make edits within the text box itself any mor
Ooooooooiiiiiiii. Yeah that's some poor UI design there. Especially when in any other context the "save" button is the one and only option available so of course you're going to be habituated to "hit the one button and done!" Bleh. Thanks for the heads up though. That's definitel...

Can we not make edits within the text box itself any more?
This is the second time I've worked on a rejected article for resubmission and found that none of my edits are showing up in the text displayed after submission. Both the preview image in the article listing AND the text box itself on the edit page show the original text. Is this an issue? Is this a...

Are bulk orders kinda done with?
It's just been ages since the last one, and ages before the one before that. People have mentioned large orders moving through the writer's pools, is that what's happening? That would be a real bummer. Especially since the pools are de facto closed for new entrants now. Maybe my perspective is just ...

Re: Is There a Delay in Reviewing Articles?
There's another bulk order going on? Where'd you see that? Nothing on the forums and they haven't sent out any emails. Most of my sales so far come through bulk orders so I'd be bummed to miss out on one.

Re: Energy Request
Are there still some articles waiting for payment in this order? I've had two that sold on the day it finished, but I just noticed today that I've got a third energy article in Waiting status. No idea if it's been waiting since the day of this order or if its an unrelated sale waiting to complete, b...

Re: Write-offs for freelance articles?
Can you do it? Yeah. Will it escape scrutiny or withstand an audit? Questionable. Until you've formally organized your freelancing efforts under the banner of a Sole Proprietorship or some other officially recognized business designation you're usually not technically entitled to start taking deduct...

Re: June Payments Scheduled For June 3 Payout
Are there any predictions about whether articles in waiting for the last bulk order are going to complete the sale by then?

Re: how to access writer pools
I asked support about this a while ago when I reached 10+ articles with a better than 60% approval rate and was told that the menu option to apply isn't automatic anymore. The feeling I got is that admissions to writer pools are de facto closed or at least extremely limited at the moment, I assume b...

Rules for communicating with clients.
I'm working with a private request at the moment, and the sense I'm getting is that there will be a fair bit of back-and-forth getting the articles shaped up to what exactly they need. This would entail multiple revisions. So I just want to make sure, given the strict guidelines we're under for comm...
