Re: Newbie saying "Hi!"
Thanks for taking the time to respond. Much appreciated. I am hopeful that at some point there is money to be made here. Of the several similar sites I have recently signed up on, this may be the only one on which I have yet to earn any money. That's not the best recommendation for continuation, but...

Newbie saying "Hi!"
I am very new. No articles accepted. Lots of frustration. I have only had one rejection, but I started here because of one opportunity that was advertised. To get an article to that client seems to be quite an uphill task: Five articles accepted in the face of a lengthy "approval" process ...

Re: In-text references
SJH, thanks for the reply. But the most important point raised in my question concerned the use of superscript numeration. It's too late now. I'm going ahead with it and if it doesn't fly, so be it. You are absolutely right about the dictum on URLs. It is a really weak point about this site that ref...

In-text references
Nowhere do I find any direction on the acceptability of in-text referencing in articles. Assuming it is acceptable, can I use superscript numeration or will the software reject or mutilate it? I don't like the option of more thorough in-text referencing as I feel it disrupts the flow too much. A sim...
