I know this is an old thread, but I have something to add that might be important. Realize that when you send a link through Twitter it gets pinged by all kinds of bots. I just made two test tweets in which i promoted some articles of mine with hastags and they each got 10 views within a few seconds...

I would estimate that buyers would pay no more than $20, and would therefore charge $19 or so.

Does that sound about right?

Does it filter out views from other authors? How often does it update? I used to get lots of hits on my articles, now not so much. I'm trying to figure out if it's the hit counter or just variance. The counter now only seems to update once or twice a day. Is this about right?
