Re: Problem with Private Request emails
Since these posts, I've had a deluge of emails. I think the bug is being fixed.

Re: Writing for Requests ?
I've written solely for requests for about the last six months. But I also only do private requests at this point now that I've built up a decent client base. When I've done pool requests in the past, though, the process has always been relatively easy. The review process is much, much faster. Usual...

Minimum price per word is not in our profiles, but I think it should be.

You can add custom certifications as well. Just click the "+" next to Add Other Certification and you can type anything in there.

Re: Updated Request System
Hi Eric, I just had a question about the Expert groups. Is there any point to applying if we haven't formally had experience working in one of these areas but do have experience writing about them? Take real estate for example. Other than watching a lot of HGTV, I don't have any hands-on experience ...

Re: Are Conclusions Always Necessary?
I also got at least one rejection for not writing a conclusion, so I always throw one in now. Often I just do a sentence or two after the list, though, so they don't take much extra time/effort.

Re: fairly priced spec vs. underpriced team: which is better
I detest the $20 writer pools. I think 4 cents a work BEFORE CC's commission is insulting, so those emails all go straight into the trash.

Re: Tons of Offers
I write for Info as a private client sometimes, so I can assure you that she's not up to anything fishy or trying to steal content. I keep hearing about people getting constant offers from her that take forever to turn into sales (I never find that her offers on my catalog articles are fair enough, ...

Re: Another suspension
Worth trying. Everyone works in a central office there, so you can ask to speak to someone else if you know who you want to talk to.

Re: Another suspension
That's so bizarre. Sorry to hear that. If it were me, I know I wouldn't take it lying down and I'd give CC a call to speak to someone in person.

Re: Don't See Accepted Article Posted
My one thought would be if you submitted it to a public request, in which case it wouldn't show up anywhere in the catalog while it was still exclusive.

Re: Inability to work
Do you know who the CC project manager is for the client? If so, I'd email them directly and explain the situation. If not, I'd message the client and ask if they can have their project manager email you. I deal directly with the project managers for a lot of my clients on here, and they always seem...

Re: Inability to work
Sheesh, sounds like they're really putting you through the ringer. If I might ask, what industry/category are all these articles for? I always wonder if that factor determines what editor they give you.
