Hehe, no... I used single apostrophies - wrong! They should be double for US.
Sorry, I don't know any good resources for US grammar, I generally get it right by instinct as the books I read tend to be mostly by US authors.
That's a good tip for changing the spelling, by the way jak!

Re: Hi from Australia
Hi Lissie, Welcome to CC, I'm so glad you decided to give it a go. As a UK writer, I'll take up the case. Ed does also understand that US and UK spelling is different and is fine about that. Remember that plenty of content buyers are from the UK, Australia and NZ as well as other UK English website ...

Don't worry Ed, it's nothing personal when it comes to spamming. I run my own small forum and it annoys me too when they go through all the hassle of signing up (I don't make it easy!) and then posting their wares. I should mention that direct deposit is probably more desirable if you are a US author. If you live outside the US like me and many other authors, then direct deposit would incur not only a bank charge for the transfer but also a futher fee to convert US dollars to your local currency (euros in my c...

I believe that you have to be logged in to be able to see your own content. What is displayed to customers is only the section of your article that you entered in the box when you submitted it. As long as you only entered a third or so, then that's all a potential content thief will be able to see. ...
