I have my own website with DirectNIC; $30/year for hosting AND domain registry. Now, I do know about web design and stuff, so I was able to design my own site, but I think they have templates and such if you don't know anything about HTML or CSS or any of that. I don't know if we're allowed to post ...

Ouch, tough question. Without being able to actually see what's going on in your account, this could mean one of 3 things: 1) The buyer hasn't had time to get back to the site and purchase your article. Be patient, and s/he will. (Usually, if you accepted the offer less than a week ago, this is the ...

I don't think we can post links anymore on account of too much spam recently. But let me add, I **heartily** recommend any of the SpaceJock software programs...I've never used yWriter, but yTimer, yBook and one other whose name I can't remember are my constant companions on the computer. I've never ...

Well...on the one hand, this is really something you have to decide for yourself; it's your article and your name. On the other hand, deleting an author's name from a use article is a rather serious offense. Many of us refer to articles published through Constant Content as part of our portfolio; if...

I also think that would be a wonderful idea, catnipp, but of course that's for CC to implement. [Constant, if you get a chance (I know you're busy!!), could you look into combining author and customer referrals into one easy link with one easy referral fee?] In the thread-I-can't-find, someone menti...

The Brainstorming Thread: Help Spread the Word
Someone asked in another thread earlier how they could publicize their work on CC. (I can't find the thread, or I'd post there. ) It's a really good question. Obviously, any customers we as the authors bring to CC help us. I was curious about what sort of promotion CC does and also what we ca...

Hi, Birmingham--and welcome! I'm not quite sure, but it sounds to me like you have curly quotes enabled on your computer. Curly quotes cannot be read by the webforms, so the form ends up transforming them into something it can read--in this case, question marks. Working from Notepad, as Dave suggest...
