Re: Do I put "for a public request" in the summary?

Thanks for the reply Ed. It's always a plus to hear it directly from the "horse's mouth", in other words, the one with the final word on things.

Do I put "for a public request" in the summary?

Hi all. Since the three day time frame to allow a public requester first chance on an article keeps the article that has been submitted from showing up to anyone else, should that be stated in the summary of the article so that Ed knows?

Re: Can I have more than one account?

Celeste, You made me wonder about the names. When I signed up I used my real name, but when I put a byline on an article, I use a pen name (well, once I forgot and used my real name). It hadn't ever caused a problem, but that was in 2007. Is it ok to use a pen name rather than the name I signed up w...

Re: Has the Recently Approved Article List Changed?

Yeah, me too. It's hard to know now which request to write for. I work a full time job, so I can't always write 'right now'. Too bad there wasn't a way to show them but have them only available for the requester to buy, I soppose that would be hard to do.

Re: Has the Recently Approved Article List Changed?

Thanks Barry and Celeste for your answers :) As I said, I was here in 2007, but only on since then intermittently. I always checked on the recently approved articles to see what authors were writing, and to see how many articles had been approved for a public request, mostly out of curiosity. I have...

Has the Recently Approved Article List Changed?

Hi all. I have a question about the list of new articles on the "Home" section of CC. I signed up as an author in January of 2007, wrote and sold a few articles, then my life kind of imploded, so I haven't written since then. I'm beginning to get geared up to get back to writing on here. I...

It's not ranked, just a list. It appears under "Freelance" and says: Write about any topic, name your price and place it on this site. Folks in need of web content can browse the work and buy what they want at this online store for freelance work. The cost to you is a 35-percent commision,...

On Health

Ok, but there is a difference between "health" and "medical". For instance, with the article I wrote on autopsies - it was put into the 'law' catagory, although it did talk a little about the use of autopsies in law, I think it would have been better placed under "medical&qu...
