time and money...
When I get requests, I usually look at the $ they will pay before I even look at the topic these days. Unless they are willing to go $25 or above for a 500+ word articles, I honestly won't even submit anything. It just isn't worth my time and I have plenty of other writing jobs that will pay that or...

Article approval order?
I am wondering if all articles are approved in the order they are posted to the site, or if it depends on the person who is approving each article?
Are writers assigned to particular admin/editors or are we all in one big queue waiting for whoever is doing approvals?

common knowledge and attribution
*Most* of the information you write for web content is common or general knowledge and does not need to be attributed. This is very different from academic writing where you are trying to break new ground with each paper. Using your cats example, even if you didn't know the facts you are stating unt...

Misty,
I followed your link for "writers against low pay" in your signature, but it goes to a page not found.
Wondering what you have mobilized on that front.

Well... probably not
If you post it multiple times, you would have to remove the option for an exclusive license - otherwise the system couldn't track it and remove it from available options...
And, even if you only made it available for non-exclusive, people couldn't see how many times it had been sold.

my .02
I think it is 2 different issues: 1) I don't have any problem with someone adding a link to the bottom of my article to another of their pages. 2) BUT, I DON'T want someone submitting my articles to another site - whether they are selling it or not - if they don't own that site. I don't feel they ha...
