That's great Celeste, actually! Anything I thought of sounded like is was wining. (I'm 4 months pregnant, so I'm always paranoid about sounding like a winy pregnant lady). So far this has been the only time this has happened, but I plan to do a little preliminary research before starting the next ba...

Well, I finished the set, and it ended up costing half of what the budget was, yet took me twice as long to complete as it should have. Oh well, it's done. Now, if he brings me another article set that this could potentially happen with, what should I say? I don't expect a customer to pay full price...

Of course, I am not going to do anything disrespectful or unprofessional, don't worry Celeste :). I think I am just going to deal with it, finish the assignment, and see what happens. If I am offered another assignment next month (as I anticipate) I will cover this concern before accepting. I am sur...

How would you handle this?

OK, so I have an ongoing public request situation on my hands. This month's request did not work out as me or the client anticipated. These are very short articles with a small price per article. The problem is the information requested is not available for several of the articles. For example, if I...

Sometimes the customer does not post the article right away. Wait about a month and then try again.

Ok, I am not sure what you mean, but before you can submit to a public request you have to put the article through the CC system. You write the article, submit it for approval, and then show it to the customer. If you skipped the approval process you did not follow the proper steps. The upload file ...

What ed is saying is that if you forgot to fill in a field in the submission form you will be rejected for only that reason. there could still be errors within the article. The rejections do not list every single error, but give a general idea as to how you can improve your article. For nistance, if...

I'm pretty sure the only way to do this is to contact support, but since it's not an urgent request like a problem with email or something, it might take a while to get a response. I am pretty sure you use the "Contact Us" button to do this.

I would be hesitant to call AC evil or bad, because it seems like they are handling this correctly. Frustrating, but at least they are following through.

I have clients that pay this way frequently. The hold up this time was the holiday, because it takes 4 BUSINESS days to clear. Normally it would have cleared by now. Expect it to clear some time today or tomorrow.

In my experience, the old requests are usually no longer needed. It is up to the customer to remove the request, and they don't always do it. With the Q and A button under the request you can jot the requester a note and ask whether or not they need more articles. If you don't hear from them, it's a...

It really varies. There is no cut and dried rule. It just depends on which customers are on the site looking for which topics. The articles that usually sell the fastest are the ones written for requests. In my experience finance topics sell the fastest, but that's just for me.
